There's one in Beverley called "the foresters" which is quite apt. I think a strip club called "munters" wouldn't be the best choice.

My gran can fell a tree with supervision of someone who has the ticket. Haha
  5. Are you trying to say that you haven't been doing it for the firewood?
  6. Shame though as there are soo many out there looking for work that employers can pay bottom rate and still expect 100%
  7. Mesterh, you should be at work.

What did you do at bishop burton?
  9. Oh oh. I know someone............
  10. Steve Irwin was loaded before that sting ray got him.
  11. I wouldn't be Joe. Apparently the beer is warm and expensive.
  12. That takes you till about 7pm. What are you filling the rest of your time in with? Pornos and bourbon creams?
  13. Plus. What is a tree surgeon?
  14. It's too vague a question. Why would anyone want to tell a complete stranger how much money they earn. Plus what one person earns will be completley different to the next person because of overheads etc. Can you give more info on the need for this information?
  15. What do you want to recruit a tree surgeon for?
  16. No but i think the story is that the last image is photoshopped or edited in the video footage.
  17. I think Simon should give him a severe repremanding for not completing his homework.
  18. Fair point. I however would rather pay bills and have holes in my socks enjoying life than earn a fortune not.
  19. Is the job open to any applicant?
  20. Depending on how big your kitchen is or how many shelves you have that might work out at £11.50 per week. That's not very good Mickey love.
  21. Isn't there some jobs going in Sweden Josh?
  22. Stick karabiner? Mmmmmmm just how excited where you with your shiny new purchase? Haha
  23. I'd say that wanting someone else to employ you because you don't want to be messing around organising who you are working for from day to day and aiming for around £130 a day isn't setting your sights very high at all. It's lazy if anything why not get a loan, get some gear, get some adverts and earn £600 a day. That's a better goal surely?
  24. I'm not getting arsey in the slightest mate. It's a healthy debate. The simple fact is, tree work is never ever gonna be as lucrative as it may have been years ago. Maybe due to the timber trade? Maybe the have a go heros? Maybe the recession? Maybe because we are just cutting trees down? For this fact you are never gonna make really decent money unless you run your own business. Even then things may be tight sometimes.
  25. Alright, alright so I make more than £9 per hour but if the situation were different I would still climb and do trees for minimum wage because of my true love for the great outdoors, the freezing winter chill, the sun browning my neck in summer, the smell of two stroke or freshly cut oak, the feeling I get looking down over a city from 80ft up a tree, the sound of the hinge cracking off a heavy back leaner that is now falling in the opposite direction, the pleasure I get when brushing off my grubby hands and parking my ass on a fresh pile of woodchip to eat my buttys. It all adds up to more than money.
