  1. heres a few more pics from the last couple of weeks.
  2. southerners like "CAMPing" Im not sure we want a scene from "brokeback mountain" happening around here Pete
  3. I would have thought so. It's listed as accessory cord. Not friction cord. As long as you only use it for comps and recreational climbing.
  4. Don't think it is ce marked as it states : meets itcc criteria
  5. Where in the original post did it say " I'm going to organise a shindig"? It doesn't But I will. Planning something for end of July/ beggining august. Loadsa time to get loads of people. I will organise an online flyer and post it in the main forum. Keep watching this space. Anyone from "the south" wishing to travel will have lots of time to organise road trips and car loads and will be more than welcome.
  6. That is one of te funniest videos I have ever seen haha. He has got some moves and rythmn. He is a legend.
  7. That's not the nicest thing to say.
  8. A guy I know had laser surgery done, went private, cost a fortune, raves about it. Says never felt better and would reccomend to anyone. He doesn't work with trees though.
  9. That's the best answer. Tree work is brutal and with the way things are at the moment there will be more "tree surgeons" than trees. Haha There is not enough jobs available within the industry and there is far too many people doing minimal training and claiming they are "tree surgeons". All that does is degrade the industry and increase our insurances and hse regs. Maybe.
  10. It's funny when you meet someone you have talked to on Arbtalk and you feel obliged to introduce yourself as your username. I'm alright but people like arbclimber, timber cutter dartmoor, 18stoner, huskyking and bob must feel a little silly sometimes. Haha.
  11. Sorry , we should have been posting in ryhming slang so that the suvverners can read it too. Haha
  12. That's what I thought. Central south.
  13. Isn't that the same thing?
  14. What's an umbrella?
  15. Show us how to do what exactly? Drink cider and Morris dance?
  16. It was pretty much a stuntfell when you see where they placed the camera tripod haha it did have decay in it as you can see from the discolouration of the heart on the slow motion clip but who cares, it's not like I was right next to a house or anything.......... Oh yeah it was.
  17. I'm confused by it. A shallow gob and normal back cut would done the same thing. If he was worried bout tearing he could use kurf cuts. If he was worried bout barbers chair then a dogs tooth? Is there a bigger picture I'm missing? Oh yeah Americans. Haha
  18. No me neither but the more you think about it the more it works. Same principle as a dogs tooth.
  19. So in affect it was a directional step cut. Did make sure it jumped off the stump over the shrubs I suppose.
  20. What I'd like to do is organise something this year that has te potential to expand into an annual event of epic proportion. Competitions, prizes, sponsorship, beer tents, burger vans etc etc. So the most central location will be the best.
  21. Top secret. Only peope who have go the "nod" have got it. There's a cryptic clue in there somewhere.
  22. Haha , saw the badge on the front and thought "perfect this won't be moving much"
  23. Woah woah woah sweet child of mine. This is a fun day. Not a free labour day. Haha. I'm sure we can kick some dead stuff out the trees on the way up. Good practises for any students that wanna come. Get some pictures. Can't wait to see them.
  24. Sounds good mate. Any large spreading broadleaf trees to have a good ol swing about on. Want to sort a mini competition work climb for some giggles as I missed the one at jonesies show.
