  1. A beer I said. A beer. And not till we have proof. Evidence beyond doubt. A triple recount.

    Top Safety Tip

If you can, find echos new brochure. It is absoulte jokes. The top handle section is awe inspiring. I will try and find it and photo it.
  3. Yeah is it for genuine champs? I saw an amazing ash yesterday. Old stump, regenerated. Absolute amazing piece of natures own miracle. Will whizz back and photograph soon as poss.
  4. I demand a recount.
  5. I rescued a cat. tWas fun. Got £40 and a bottle if Stella.
  6. Look at the last picture of the top hitting the ground and how dusty and dry it is. Easily 250+. Don't even worry about it. Lol. It's simple maths. If a tree grows for 100 years and then carrys on growing for another 100 years and then grows for another 100 years then it would be 300 years old. You stick with me kidda. There's a whole world out there.
  7. Yeah but it had been touched hadn't it. And now it's been touched again and probably will again. Tree management. Woopwoop
  8. Quite surprised those fence rails weren't just nailed to the tree haha
  9. That's because your an idiot.:001_tt2: I'll bet you a beer at the next Arb show that it is more than 200
  10. Supply and demand, supply and demand.
  11. You notice how the camera convieniently doesn't show the hinge though. Pfffffft. Reckon it was a step cut. Haha.
  12. Shame it's all going to firewood. Years ago fine furniture manufacturers used to make the backs of wardbrobes out of cedar because moths don't like it or something like that, musta read it somewhere. I wouldve guessed at 325yrs.
  13. I already stated fell and replant with 1x beech and 1x hornbeam. Nobody listens to frank.
  14. IMO a house or estate like that shouldve had a replant done ages ago in anticipation to let the new tree get established before that one was brutalised by Mr Arbtalk. Lol
  15. Plus, the one major point is that leylandii do not regenerate with epicormic growth, so you are not creating weak limbs for the future that are growing out of the cambium layer and not asynchronously. And the main reason for topping leylandii hedges is to recreate a hedge that has been left unmanicured for one reason or another and is now going to be reduced to make it managable.
  16. Shoulda felled it. Haha. Love jobs like that. Gob and drop. Anything being done with main stem? I.e milling?
  17. Mmmm if it was my house I'd have a log burner installed and fell it. Replant a beech and a hornbeam further away.
  18. Hahaha at first I thought it was a wind up but then realised it was kinda cool. Do you live on back lane aswell mozzarella?
  19. The rumour I heard was that you would have to basically prove experience on the job before they would insure you on your own. this is a good thing I think.
  20. Exactly. People who say they don't do it and know all the reasons why it is bad practises and then go against all that when they need the wallet filling make me laugh even more.
  21. Direct me if I'm wrong but shouldn't it say "caring for your arboricultural needs"?
  22. I thought that. How are people gonna know your contact details.
  23. I did he old vistaprint business cards and ended up paying just over £10 for 1000 premium cards with my own design and logo. When I went to pay for 250 it said why not double your order for an extra £2. So I did and then it said it again, so I did. It then said it again and i said woah hang on this could go on all night. They arrived in 10 days with slow delivery.
  24. Anyway. We aren't talking about reductions we are talking about topping heavily.
  25. Reduction or fell isn't the only option?
