  1. I guess I'm gonna organise it then. Right Hull it is. Got the perfect venue.
  2. Sounds good the more the merrier? As for days? Depends when most people want it. Need to sort a venue first.
  3. I too have bought domain names of 123-reg and haven't yet made a site so his thread will be interesting for me also.
  4. Anywhere but Huddersfield. Haha. Only joshing. Need a wood or similar with large spreading broadleaf trees and car parking.
  5. Somewhere in the middle of the country. Yorkshire-ish? Within couple of hours travelling for those interested. We need a venue with big trees and can organise a little fun competition for giggles.
  6. Anybody interested in helping organise a climbing get together day some time in not so distant future? Venues? Dates? Ideas?
  7. This thread kicks ass.
  8. Any pictures and some who's who discriptions?
  9. Ok I will name it: "bobbysm reckons climbers are superior beings and everyone else is just a non-climber"
  10. Cheers mate that's more like the answer I was looking for. Just waiting for an email of someone then I will pm You with more details.
  11. good question. Haha
  12. Exactly. Your a star. Now even groundies will be able to understand it hahahaha
  13. It's lyros runner mate.
  14. Would it make any difference at all if the rope were to be run down the back of the tree instead of same side as the intended landing zone
  15. Oh ok. I thought mine was short compared to most. Maybe mines a medium. I'll go and ask our lass. Haha
  16. Tim, can you draw a diagram on that welly pic to show what I meant.
  17. Groundworkers are just labourers. But that is a different thread altogether.
  18. So what you are saying is, reg shoulda just felled it straight through them rhodedendrons, they would have soon sprung back up.
  19. Highly skilled superstars but that is a different thread. Haha
  20. Plus think of the costs and time inolved in removing all the waste. I.e chucking the removed rubber washer out the window on the way home.
  21. So if there was something to anchor to an equal distance in the opposite direction of the landing zone and you had a long enough rope you could run from that up to the top of the tree and then down the other side where you want to speedline to making the angle of force nearly straight down?
  22. Oh it was plenty loud enough for that dribble. What a load of tosh. You need to delete your entire mp3 collection and start again.
  23. I think your being a but harsh. I mean the plumber will probably have had a quite expensive adjustable spanner with him. Plus think of the cost of all his ppe.
  24. Very nice.
