  1. LOL, watched this last week and it is amazing. unfortunatlly the bloody ice skating is on at 9.30 so i will only be watching until then its great being the boss of the house

    ballasted tyres are great until you get a puncture and have to take the tyre off, better way to go is hub mounted weights. it`s ok to just fill with air but you never get round to ballasting them up agian and you use lots of aanti frezze.
  8. I have one of these and it is spot on, owned it for 2 yearx now and never touched it yet. I have the chainsaw attachent for ine as well and it is good, If i had £200 ish to spend i would go second hand sthil than new heapie cheapie
  9. don`t fancy hand cranking that baby! See a programme about these engines and i am sure i am right in saying it has a huge cat engine of 1000hp to start it !
  10. got a new one at work 09 plate trying to get a gear is a lottery, not sure if it`s the clutch or the linkage. the clutch feels fine but it won`t go into gear even had it graunching when we get it back i will post up what was wrong with it.

  19. hang on !!! what about some of our members weighing thier bags at altitude? with thin air there is sure to be a differance in weight ? a 26t load up in the highlands will only weigh 25.99999995 tons down here then you have the humidity up in scotty, running at 100% you will never get logs dry up there!! hehehehe
  20. couple of points don`t worry to much about the top as ply or the like can sort that but have a good look at the axles and main load points, look for cracks around the tipping pivots /ram ends. make sure the body sits on the chassis often the get rolled over when tipped up. most bits are replaceable or weldable.
