  4. For the price these saws should run problem free for at least three years or lower the price to 300 quid. Touch wood i have an 2006 200t and its been excellent. Of course they are making them cheaper and cheaper stihl now use cheaper materials to build the 200t All it will do is make us turn to the next good company which i think might be japanese
  5. I used angle iron 2inch by 2inch all over then i have aly sign written boards on the front and getting the rear done.
  6. Christmas im looking for a 2003 or newer truck as i aint paying £200 a day to work in london. I hope this will be a time when people need money so i can grab a bargain. I would buy out right what you can afford if your stuff is good why upgrade my transits 1996 old but runs so nice i will only waste money on a newer one as i have to.
  7. You can legally use a chainsaw with out tickets as long as your supervised. In this tight time the workers who cost the least will always get work over some one with tickets. You should be worth more but when companies need to save money getting cheaper labour is the first thing to happen. By law you should have a climber and groundie who have ariel rescue but i sub alot and have never had this where two people have the cert only one.
  8. £50 only if i dident have to clear it just cut it.
  9. I have done 99% reductions on hedges the feckers still grow back lol.
  10. My groundies are crap im always having to get down and drag does my head in. I would do that for £1.99 lol.
  11. Own every thing out right then when times are tight you can just sit and wait or temp go do some part time subbin or different work as long as you have your gear you can take what comes and ride the credit wave.
  12. Yes great but if i cant send them into a tree to do the job then i wont pay them for that job i would pay a qualified groundie £60-75 a day.
  13. dont matter about tickets if they cant climb there not worth climbers money. £60-75 a day if you have to teach them.
  14. Its worth the money i love my one im getting a new one soon my ones about 1-2 old now got fraying to. You wont get cheaper then 220 although i only paid £200 for my one think we all got it for that when they first come out. Is there a new design coming out ??>

  20. :thumbdown:no just 45m of 16mm rope i normally stick the tub in the chipper but when it rains the ropes get wet not good.
  21. I been looking at using the vtwin vanguard engine 35 horse power air petrol engine. Are you talking about diesel.
  22. Of course i mean chipper infeed size. Would be informative to see pics of the size your machine can chip pros and cons etc. I dont know if its been covered but i see no pics.
  23. Here is my one Sorry for cutting my info out i just dont know who looks on the site and like to stay incognito. I get enough weird phone calls already lol.
  24. Lease monthly payments are a business tax loss. If you own depreciation yes but when you sell you loose 20% of the value as its classed as a business asset. The pro of leasing is get it now pay for it over time The pro of owning is you own it no payments The cons of lease recession looming id steer well clear unless your very safe in work The cons of owning you have to maintain it and it will depreciate But its a straight tax loss.
  25. :confused1:The main point i should have asked is what is todays prices of TW and saturn any one know.
