Oh look i wonder what greedy c???t thought that one up. With the credit crunch trust me when i say they will not have the staff to deal with the 20 or so million people in the fire line of this one. What will happen which i like is thats 20 million votes to remove these arsssssss hollleeess from power. They will keep squeezing untill a sodding revolution were hitting braking point with low wages gas electric food petrol and now tax its just only going down one road.:thumbdown: Im voting...........

Mr ed and deano you made my night pissing myself haha. Sounds like everyones been having a right old bitch fest. We are just human guys we make bad choices and good ones. You cant please everyone all the time and you cant cut trees the best way all the time. As for putting a tpo on a customers tree without there permission thats just bang out of order if they ever found out your company name would get dragged rightly through the mud. :001_tongue:

I dont want a call being blamed for something and i new you guys would have details on it. Cheers for the info should be fine house was piled so the tree should be ok to remove.

Never used a caveat before so how would that work i know you did explain a little before but just wondering if you could offer bit more detail.

I did say that they even build the conservatory with it no more than 2 ft away. Thats what i think i will do draw up an invoice with a clause excluding my company from any blame. And get the customer to sign it. If they dont really dont need the work so no loss.

Guys just quoted where a tree is 4ft from the conservatory and 12ft from the house its a 35ft skinny oak with 2-3ft trunk. Customer wants it removed. Then was told they suffered from subsidence but had it underpinned or piled and the conservatory was build with deeper foundations because of the tree. What are the affects of removing this tree in one go. Im no construction expert. Since the house is already been damaged and repaired because the foundations were not done properly by the house builders am i at risk of being nobbled Any ideas.

Im so glad im not the only one who feels this is one piss take to far. We work in one of the hardest industries around and to have to deal with pen pushing jobsworths grates me something bad. We should all stick together and voice our views after all we keep paying for this that and the other but what do we get for our money nothing but permission to carry on doing what we was before. Am i the only one who feels we should send them complaint after complaint if we should together we actually could make a difference. Is it not about time we stopped just saying yes sir no sir bend me over and rob me blind sir. We keep doing our best to keep within the law but they would rather make impossible laws so they earn more through fines than tax. :thumbdown:

I know a rant on sometimes but im busting my ass competing with 101 tree firms making it harder really pisses me off. I want to be squeeky clean but they just move the goal posts every year something new next our chainsaws will need smog tests. Were does it end the small companies offering value for money wiped out leaving the big greedy companies to keep ripping people off. This sucks the small business is being strangled......

Some people on here think its good because they believe it will wipe out rouge traders. Thats just nieve at best. All that will happen is the more we accept new legislation the more it will hurt our business in future. Bigger firms may survive but they will hike prices so the pikeys will return in force and start the cycle all over again. Price is the main factor in our business the more legislation we have to pay for the more were pricing ourself out our own market. I do not agree chip should be classed as waste a fully recycle my chip how the hell is it waste. I really get rattled by this we should have the right to vote for legislation that directly affects us not let some idot who cant mow the grass make decisions.:thumbdown:

I rang ea and im happy that i will still not need a license. They are mainly targetting the metal carriers as there is huge amounts of money being made and basically they want a piece of it. That is the only reason they are changing laws i mean comon how are they even allowed to keep changing these laws to suit them of course they all want big bonuses and we have to pay them. If we all stuck to these anal rules we would be skint. Every one uses labour with no tickets everyone overloads everyone does not loler there gear some do most dont. This will mean the pikeys will undercut us much easier they will never get this license they cant be traced. All it means is we earn less of our own money.

Enviro agency scum. Basically they sit on there fat lazy arse watching us work our arse off then try to slap fines on us every time they can. I have red and black kong helmets very comfty good sweat absorbtion and snug fitting 4 point harness. Ear muffs can be 28snr or 32snr and visor and muffs detacheble for when only using a silky. I dont think you can:001_tt1: buy a better climbing helmet.

Guys really in need of new rope burned my one with the exhaust. Really liking the look of this samson rope any one got any pros cons or better ropes im only into 13mm ropes.
