  1. I met a company called boomeco at the arbfair, they pay a little more than ahs. Really good to deal with also.
  2. I had a robin, build a nest in my climbing helmet over a weekend in the garage. I toiled with the idea of leaving it there but in the end relocation to a semi detached cardboard box occurred!!!! I felt bad for a moment then all was good!
  3. I have never had a minimum loading bucket!!! Mind you the one that comes and loads up is huge, we can fill the lorry in about 1/2 and hour. The only thing that may cause you to be offered a lower price for your chip is that it is not on hard standing and therefore could contain mud clumps, stones etc.... I have a 7630 newholland in my yard which i circulate the chip with, so any that is left over form the previous pick up is first on he next load out, therefore reducing the composting effect. As for the issue of free chip etc, this year i am even going to sell the stuff i wouldnt normally split (conifer, willow, pop etc) in bulk loads as the demand for it is there. People who come and ask to help themselves either pay up or feed me wine!!! Its business not charity!!
  4. I stock pile mine in the open in the silage clamp, once a month a large lorry comes, it gets loaded up and at £13 a tonne i smile for my little effort!!! I am friends with a local farmer who has a telehandler, once a month he gets a free evening in the pub!!!! If people want to buy some off me i do sell it cheaper than the garden centers but in this day and age the world is full of ungrateful so and so's!!!! Basically if you dont sell it for biomass you loose about £4500 a year!!! well i would anyway!
  5. I know they are..... I did have my tongue somewhat in my cheek when i mentioned the mini rig!!!!
  6. What about this? A little chip box on the back, mini chipper hooked up? hey hey? got yourself a pretty sweet rig!!!! lol power barrow on eBay (end time 07-Apr-10 22:24:06 BST)
  7. I looked into those but heard poor reports about the Huskys, as always i could be wrong having not used one and all that!!!
  8. No it drives off one side via 2 drive belts off the pulleys.
  9. I have some for 026 and ms260 if anyone needs!
  10. The Predator id 30 inches wide and so far i havent come across an issue of getting it through a gateway/doorway!
  11. Ive got the Predator 450 and its a beast. I have used to Calton and the Rayco and the 450 i find is better than both. This is due to the multitip that comes on them. If you have the money to spend then get one that self drives, i couldnt pull the rg20 onto my ifor with out someone helping me and it really is only good for little stumps as its a PITA the use in holes etc. I have done some big old stumps with my 450 and it failry mullers through them, The biggest was a 7 foot wide holm oak stump, it wasnt as fast a big tracked grinder but 1.5 hours later it was done. The greenmech is an identical copy of the 450 so the choice is yours!!! Hope that helps!!!!
  12. Who is this guy? Thought you were busy clearing up after the utility boys!!!!!!
  13. To be honest boys its been part of my service for about 2 years now!! running costs are high but we can cut a conny hedge in no time at all!
  14. goodprint, is ... well, good!!! Also try "a local printer". or the advert on the side banner on here.
  15. Its 30 inches from side to side, same as my stumpy. I have got it through every gate so far!!!!
  16. Well reminded John, just chased them up on my place, I supplied logs last year so a free place this year!!!! lovely!
  17. lol, i ran out of tree!!!!!Prodigy make long songs!
  18. Just did a large Beech take down the other day you could of come out too, amazing backdrop of GCHQ in the far far distance. Wicked rigging too, big swinging pendulum type!!
  19. Also another point, the wheels on the greenmech are pneumatic and large making it easy to pull across rough gardens and over bricks or whatever||!! The TW has very small solid wheels that again look cheap and awkward.
  20. Luke (the groundie) is pretty good at lowering, i can knock big bits off and know i wont be catapulted about.
  21. Yeh thats definetly Eric, when i do get him off the phone he gets on his guitar!!!
  22. [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R1d4E4QDRfo]YouTube - Eucalyptus take down.m4v[/ame]
  23. What about the Riko trailers, anyone used/go one? Riko UK :: Fast tow forwarding trailers
  24. Not having used a timberwolf, but i own the cs100. I saw the TW in a shop and it looks like a pain in the bot to use, the infeed shoot is very high and i cannot see the disc being as good as the drum to on the greenmech to use. My greenmech tears stuff out of your hand and its put together very well. I picked mine up second hand with limited hours on it, If you really want a greenmech i would hold out, you will only kick yourself if you bought the other. ps, i could be wrong and they are amazing but it looks pants!!!!
  25. My mac is 7 years old and runs like a dream, my uni friends had at least 2 pcs each over the 3 years!!!! Mine is still going and i graduated in 2005! Pc to Mac is like Bowsaw to Ms200T!!!!!
