  2. Amazing trucks, I continue to exceed the recomended carrying capicity in mine. I am not selling mine now due to it being very good. Basically the damn thing won't die allowing me to justify a new one!!! They pull well and service well, what more can you want!!!
  3. I have a big job on for 2 weeks and could do with an extra groundsman. We are based in Gloucestershire and will be working near to Cheltenham on quite an impressive site. If you are a newbie looking for experience with a saw ticket then brilliant, if you are more qualified and have cs numbers i cant even recognize then even better. We shall be working with mewps, chippers, tractors and shiney lowering kit! If you would like to offer your services then please feel free to get in touch. David Shephard 07730683069
  4. I love the infeed rollers on that guys chipper!!! massive!!!!

i got mine from lister wilder for £850 with the 48 inch bar at the start of the year!
  7. Both the tree are TPO'd upto their eye balls and even me just climbing in them to initially remove a single snapped limb upset many many locals!!!! I had to reduce the worst hazard beams as losing the whole limbs would obviously screw the form completely. I am getting the whole site resurveyed as it came to light the last survey was in 2001!!! The Abbey has 1000's and 1000's of visitors each year and they walk all around the trees as they would. I would hate to see the trees go but really the number of major limbs with cracks in is quite scary. I have covered my ass and told all including the consultant!!!! I have a funny feeling i will be knocking snow off them next year should it be bad again!!!! I almost gave you a call John to say come down and take a few pics.
  8. Im suspecting the effects of snow damage. At least 9-10 branches have hazard beam fractures along them including the other Welly in the grounds. Had great fun climbing especially getting the throw line stuck first thin (right at the top!!) Also had the local paper there the report on the work!! free advertising and a great reference!!!
  9. If it goes out invoice it out. Say they we not as agreed and he may have them if he pays, he clearly won't want to so he can return them. I doubt he would of burnt them yet in this heat!
  10. The little greenmech being force fed some brash!!!!! they dont like dead wood thats for sure!!! Got a few decals for mine last week too.
  11. Count me in, I will test some for you. I am sharpening my pencil right mow!!
  12. The question is, do we get a free pair of trousers for the review?
  13. I don't think it's about profit, without a truck no body can really work realistically. I intend to right it off over five years as it were of which 3 are warranted etc.
  14. I will watch for the ladder bar, are you using a timberwolf ie your spout is at 2m high?
  15. yep celox now comes in tea bags or impregnated bandages as they are called!!! In the eyes must be sore!!!!
  16. Your right there is nothing wrong with the daily infact its an awesome truck, and its built by me to how i think a truck should be but right now i am in a position to better my equipment. I have considered how some of my clients may react but the daily was new once i guess! Some clients such as my commercial ones will prefer the look i am sure. This isnt an easy purchase but i consider it evolution!!!!
  17. I dont think Alison from ABC even knows yet as there was an exam in Chorley only last week.
  18. If they dont break anything, i get a bonus. If they dont get a telling off, they get a bonus!!!! As has been said, bonus schemes will cause non needed tension between those that gain from it and those that dont. By keeping moral high by being a good boss/company should motivate the workers/employees to succeed for you.
  19. not exactly sure but legally poss not very much, just over a tonne knowing 3.5 tonne trucks!!!
  20. Well if it all goes ahead, my Iveco will be up for sale if anyone is interested. Not sure how much as yet but i am a fair chap!
  21. apart from the tail gate on the back, its all barn doors.
  22. It should be very similar to this one.
  23. steve you walked past it at the Capel Manor show. It was the green one on the Tipmaster stand. will have the back painted white if it goes ahead. Its the 3.0 ltr with 150 hp. Wide cab, double wheel, tool boc and a big tip body. Its the doggies for sure. good idea on the extended warranty.
  24. Local small booklets and parish mags are the way. also i saw an Absynth advert recently that made me think i ought to try a new technique!!!!
  25. I live by a military base in Tewkesbury and there are 100's and 100's of them here. The MANS are amazing vehicles, a few have HIABS on the back and can be seen lifting huge loads in the testing area. I have always thought what it must be like to convert one to Arb spec!!! I have seen a couple with a box back on, near enough a perfect chip truck in the making!!!
