  2. Being an operator and supervisor , it makes me chuckle as in if I ever have a question or advice I have to ring myself up !
  3. I worked with a west african nr the oval Who I again worked with in Essex, he was Great always smiling and a hard worker that was early 90's. So I guess not that many different ethnic cultures do get into the trade

  7. Thanks Don't worry the table turning is sussed, after I have finished bottom as it is not pegged I will lift off rail and legs , stack the top boards with middle on top .Then position legs fix rail /braces put on centre board and peg followed by the outer boards.. To be honest this is my first paid job making anything wood apart from logs, I'm getting right into it taking my time and making sure I don't have to fell a forest to replace any mistakes or move anything more than possible oh and measure twice and cut once is my mantra:001_smile:
  8. Wood moved and placed on patio then these pics show setting out table top. Working out legs and supports. I have got the finished item in my minds eye (sort of) just need another day too finish braces and the rail underneath to run to both legs.
  9. Fell it through the hedge...throw line bull rope one cut = on the deck safe......(they didn't want to spend for the bucket) and wernt bothered by the damage already to hedge. Also as you said YOU wernt happy about climbing A 'structurally defective' tree so why bother ? I hope that one day we wont be watching a u tube dadio biting the dust. Stay smart stay wise and most importantly stay alive as you wont get any medals.
  10. The only good thing will mean that our older land rovers will be still sort after and hold there money for longer...My td5 disco commercial has cost me £500 in 3 and a half years motoring and that was only compressor and 2 new airbags. mind you ive hit a few trees with it but there is nothing since that they have produced that I would sell it and up grade for
