    By the size I presume its a female, only seen a couple before as they are very secretive and spend most of the time under cover waiting to ambush. If you find one its likely that there are others but being protected they should not be handled or disturbed. I only came across moving logs it as its nearing end of hibernation it was docile but still gave a hiss and a strike. Covered her back up and let her do her thing.

    How much budget do you have? 200tdi ,300tdi or td5? The latter will just be more expensive on parts.

    Happy retirement Jack! He taught me to branch roll in 91 and covered my work in red pen in the 00's. A highly thought of teacher in the tree world, I hope he hasn't left it completely as void will be left that will be hard to fill

    Don't shave for a couple of days, slip in to your wife's g string and dressing gown, slap on some lippy badly and knock on his door with a bunch of flowers tell him you love him and let the gown blow in the wind.. That should keep him minding his own ...................that or you get a new best friend
