  1. As long as you don't come across any or intentionally disturb you will be ok BUT make sure you check the site before and make/keep records. The maximum penalty that can be imposed for an offence, in respect of a single bird, nest or egg is a fine of up to £5,000, and/or six months' imprisonment. Some birds nest all year like pigeons and the nesting season changes depending on climate etc. SOME RARER BIRDS HAVE MORE PROTECTION The council maybe telling you to take them down and that is fine, they are not telling you to disturb destroy etc .
  2. Agri mog waste of time unless your doing forestry with a timber trailer
  3. Interesting place, this was 'stickledown' . The the work was undertaken to prevent any advantage from a wind break caused by the tree's.
  4. NRA site at Bisley. Ta. Deer where pretty bold and everywhere. Ironic really that they are safe in a place full of hunters, except of course for the Odd stray bullet and motar!

  7. Congrats on your new arrival Your doing the best thing visiting the transport guru. No-one here has the answer YET If its ag you can only carry tools on board MOGs useless as ag spec in arb unless reg as a lorry and compliant with the relevant laws. Forestry is another thing. Unless you want to risk having the book thrown at you. You can carry on and Hope you don't get caught .a bit like our traveller friends. Saying that You may find loop holes but no one has come up with any on here so far. Just the same old points but nothing in stone and everyone reads things as they want to see them with regards to laws and to be honest most of it is written in double Dutch Good luck with the solicitor and keep us posted FINGERS CROSSED
  8. My old man was in the met 6'2 and at one point 24st he used to beat bank robbers with a baton. Most of what he said couldn't be repeated. He was always raring up and ready to explode After i had a good beating he always used to say " stop f@@@@ng Snivelling like wet girls blouse" Taught me how to take a punch and man up lol "You'll go blind !" Was also one of his favourites
  9. Not a normal few days of work but a blessing with the weather we had as it was all feet firmly on the ground. The big boys toy was a godsend as we initially had 4 wks but it ended up with only had a short window of a week! before the area was opened again up by the Mod. Supplied with an ordanance expert in case we found anything dodgy

  14. No song and dance on my behalf just a sensible and reasonable concern that I had. My mistake was going the wrong way about it.
  15. Mr Day is a top bloke one if the nicest people I have met in a long time The chain carved from a branch is fantastic ! Check out his cube bench also the list goes on Hopefully when he has finished his commission he's working on at the moment he will be carving for one of my customers
  16. Thanks mate I have not had anything nicked though just to make things clear ! it was more to do with not being on show with my details here for prying eyes as I think this can be a good platform for the wrong sort to see who has what and where. The thread has seemed to have been dragged into doom and gloom through negative presumption and hijacking and that Certainly is not the case here as the sun is always shinning on my patch
  17. Due to the current situation many have been affected by I had certain issues (stolen equipment). I have explained myself to Steve and he understood my point and in hindsight I should have spoken to him first. 22. If everyone it concerns on here joins at least it would Be more eyes and ears I only came across it at a police stand at a Wood fair and it made sense to me. So the more that joined the better
  23. Not been on site for a while and after speaking with Jonny Burch I thought I would post on here to tell you about Country Watch. It's been set up for rural crimes by different police forces You join for free and get signs as deterrents as well as advice on security etc But the clincher for me was texts sent to your mobile listing car regs / colour of vehicles acting suspiciously inc number of occupants and area. As well as info On crimes carried out. If you see anything suspicious you phone a number and it all gets linked to other members. Maybe it would be useful. They do it in Surrey Hampshire but not sure where else. Just put in country watch in google.
  24. Not my car or kit its my old groundies it just made me laugh when I saw it packed up. Guess I paid him too much
