  1. I’d just use 3 or 4 loose sleepers instead of that tbh.
  2. I’m not sure that Trump was on the job then either tbh. Defo not his fault that time either 😂😂😂
  3. I don’t think Putin would have invaded Ukraine with Trump (or someone similarly strong/unpredictable) at the helm. He knew that NATO/Europe/the US wouldn’t get involved directly (they have supplied arms for defence but only recently sent anything that can reach into Russia as a form of attack) so he’s been able to essentially do as he pleases, as there hasn’t been any western leadership with an ounce of backbone to stand up to him. I personally think we need Trump to be the leader Russia/China/North Korea have in the back of their minds when considering their next moves.
  4. I’m with you on this - Netanyahu and his followers are as close to Hitler and the nazis as I think we’ve seen in modern times. Hamas are terrorists none-the-less, but they are well supported and subsequently sheltered by the Palestinians because of the horrendous historic behaviour of Israel (supported by the West). The whole lot wants nuking and bulldozing into the sea….
  5. He would (will?!) stop the war by cutting off the funding, and forcing Ukraine to accept the current front line as the new boundary. Clearly this is not something he can do if not president.
  6. Disappointed that isn’t your starter word mate…
  7. Lincmaster make some good gear - I adapted one of their hitch locks after an attempt was made to cut it off. Just don’t walk into it in the dark….
  8. You passed me at around 1630 this afternoon - you were heading towards/past Reaseheath College in the direction of the M6, I was sat in a traffic jam on my motorbike!
  9. Yes, I’d say so. We’ve had an incredibly wet winter and the soil will have fully re-wetted since your tree removals so any potential for heave possibly caused by said removals will have already occurred.
  10. Whatever your structural engineer specifies! The tree’s legacy is unlikely to have any relevance.
  11. The Husky battery kit is made of cheese - I’ll definitely not replace any of ours with more of the same. It is the least reliable ‘professional’ gear I’ve ever encountered.
  12. Mulcher?
  13. I’d tell your insurers now and just explain you were hoping not to claim but there is more damage than first realised. There won’t be a time issue and the fact that the other party agreed to pay your damage shows they accept liability for the collision.
  14. Just use whatever is cheapest - it all does the same job. We used 10/40 engine oil at one stage as I could bulk-buy it cheaper than chain oil! Rye oils and GB oils are both good value if buying in bulk (a pallet at a time basically, 800l plus).
  15. The vid is hideous - I hope the copper gets prosecuted, totally uncalled for.
  16. Have you got plenty of oil in your tank? We had one that ran badly when the oil was low (but the oil boiler fed from the same tank still ran perfectly).
  17. Just needs shutting down entirely, the ****************wittery is spreading across the forum like a cancer…
  18. NFU are offering 10% off Hilux, £1000 off some D-Max, and 2 or 3% off the Ford/VW pickup. By the time you’ve paid membership it’s not worth bothering with any of these, you’d be able to negotiate as good a discount with the dealer directly. Toyota in Warrington are apparently a big fleet supplier - they offered me a pretty good discount as a straight purchase a couple of years ago. Dealers with physical stock are more likely to be open to negotiation than those who would need to order you something in.
  19. Have you yet had to get a hose made by a third party as the required fitting wasn’t in your arsenal? I’ve contemplated getting a swager loads of times but keep blowing unusual hoses which then puts me off again!
  20. They are a fantastic company - you will have no issues ordering from them.
  21. I’m going to vote for them. We will sadly end up with Labour whatever happens, but Reform seems to be the only real option for a viable protest vote.
  22. You mopey old fanny - it’s only a saw!
  23. That Farm Boss deal looks to me like someone trying to fob off their old crap (that’s no better than what you already have) onto you, taking advantage of your inexperience. You’d be much better looking for a MS170 as previously mentioned by another poster, or my (better) MS180 as already offered in my opinion.
  24. That’s not a very nice insinuation at all!
  25. Just trying to keep them safe, old crap like that wants taking out of circulation. Can’t do anything charitable without being falsely accused of an ulterior motive - ridiculous!
