  1. In the original Facebook post there was a few more photos of the aftermath including an x-ray. He definatley broke it!!
  2. This will make for an awkward "Arb show" I'll have to keep an eye out for blokes with real ale walking round in light coloured slacks, with boners. It'll be like the Ecologists have got out again!
  3. Not so keen on a meet up now! Give me a message on WhatsApp and we'll sort something out mate. I've got some videos that are right up your strasse!
  4. I'll catch up with you mate. Not be camping but I'll definatley be at the APF. You're not bringing Pinkie are you?
  5. So does anybody explain base anchors etc to newer groundies if you are using then?
  6. Haha. I was thinking about potential aerial rescue situations. I've seen some groundies who look confused at the prospect of a different rake so the thought of a Unicender or complicated base anchor might be too much. Didn't know how subbies would deal with it if they're moving through different teams a lot
  7. Does anyone do introductions to climbing systems in the initial stage when working with new groundies or different firms?
  8. Why? Did your radar go off?
  9. @Bolt, are you involved in the delivery of Lantra felling qualifications? Could you point me in the direction of the Assessment guidance for the Lantra felling assessment? I'm quite familiar with the City and Guilds one and would like to compare. Many thanks. Tommy
  10. Why would you bring potatoes out to annoy someone?
  11. It's the "Smack break" level of character on there that annoys me. Nearly all of the Facebook tree pages have turned into the equivalent of the wild West. A bunch of blokes who will moan that people are devaluing the industry then post videos of themselves at work, devaluing the industry
  12. Haha. Don't have one mate, I use the cinch. Will accept donations if it offends people's OCD
  13. Rope guide. Love mine
  14. I have one of those. I find mine changes it's own oil once a month and performance becomes unpredictable but it soon rectifies. Suction issue sounds similar. Rental machines appear not to have the same issue. Odd
  15. Yes please if that's ok mate!
  16. @Sambo If you do get one, can you I have the waist band and back pad with all the holes if you only need the Ds? Ideally want one thats old or out of LOLER lifespan. Thanks.
  17. Instead of a refresher, do an upskill. Do the next course up and it automatically refreshes the one below it
  18. The candidate only has to provide the 3 hazards and risk for the work and the area. Assessor can ask for the 5 stages of a risk assessment in the assessment but cant fail you if you get it wrong as it isn't in the qualification
  19. That's fair I guess. How big is it?
  20. That is awesome mate. How much would one of those be out of interest?
  21. It was given to me. I was going to buy some more then saw the price of it and decided that the length I had WAS fine!
  22. 10mm Armor prus in a Cinch for me. Love it
  23. He absolutely loves it
  24. Tried one, didn't like it so i sold it. They can't have replacement parts ordered and have to be sent off to be rebuilt. Advances really well but descent could be a bit sketchy
  25. I realise that this doesn't help but I'm afraid that I couldn't resist. Sorry
