  1. I hope they started with the small probe and worked their way up and didn't go straight in with the big one mate
  2. You were married, had a kid and a business at 14? Are you Benjamin Button? I had a football sticker book
  3. I can't see the photos on the subheadings Steve? Have they been taken off?
  4. Can you do a video of the self releasing block please?
  5. People who pronounce words wrong "Can I axe you a question? Have you sin that programme?" Annoys me
  6. Fair point well made mate. Each to their own though, I'd still always go for a rope guide over using kit wrong. Not knocking you though buddy
  7. Explain this a bit more please? I wouldn't fancy using the zigzag on just a single line on its own. If you choke the rope through a ring, and pull a bight through and to the top crab and a pulley, you would be much better off. You wouldn't be over extending the links.
  8. Did you know the Cryuff sponsorship story Mick? Cryuff was sponsored by Puma and Holland by Adidas. Brothers owned the companies and disliked each other so because Pumas logo was 2 stripes down the sleeves compared to Adidas 3, Johan refused to play in the official kit unless he got a special one with a stripe removed. Wouldn't happen nowadays mind
  9. First World Cup I remember fully was 98. Caught bits of 94 but wasn't too fussed really. Absolutely loved all of Euro 96 as well. Everything about it was class. Not sure why tree climbers generally don't like football. One of the things that properly wind me up is absolute morons who post the sort of photos which make it appear that rugby players are real men who most definatley have never ever done anything morally questionable and all footballers are homosexuals who do nothing at all for anyone.
  10. How did you know I used to be a butcher?!?
  11. I don't mind it. Although I prefer Instagram than Facebook as you get a load of old rubbish on both but tend to see less of it on Instagram. I think its great that you can communicate with people on the other side of the world. If you don't fancy it being seen by all sorts, imagine that the world and his wife can see everything you post and don't upload anything dodgy. If you get annoyed by people posting a load of shite, I'd suggest that it was your fault for accepting them as a friend in the first place or not hiding what they post. Either or. Simples.
  12. Mark Przekurat. Think you can message him on Facebook
  13. @Steve Bullman Steve, Is there a way to search for threads started by specific people? I was looking for an old thread but couldn't remember what it was called, only who started it.
  14. I've only done one and that was only to see if I could do it. Its an ugly old thing for sure
  15. You get annoyed by a lot of things don't you
  16. Sorry, maybe I was typing quickly and didn't get what I meant across. I agree that it needs to be a practised act and needs to be well oiled. I wouldn't recommend just showing someone something for a couple of minutes and hoping for the best. Do you always work with the same guys mate?
  17. I meant that if you were subbing for different firms, going through base rescue systems and explaining how the components work for groundies who may not be familiar would be a good idea.
  18. In the original Facebook post there was a few more photos of the aftermath including an x-ray. He definatley broke it!!
  19. This will make for an awkward "Arb show" I'll have to keep an eye out for blokes with real ale walking round in light coloured slacks, with boners. It'll be like the Ecologists have got out again!
  20. Not so keen on a meet up now! Give me a message on WhatsApp and we'll sort something out mate. I've got some videos that are right up your strasse!
