  4. we've got the carlton 4012 at work and as long as its got a full set of sharp teeth on it is a real good grinder, the only problem is the plug for the remote control is really flimsy and it always get knocked out and has to be repaired regularly, but if it was owner operated i guess a lot more care would be taken and this would not be a problem
  5. im going to a splicing course with him, but i dont know if its the same one as i am doing this one through a privatley arranged one through my climbing lecturer i think

    yeah there gore tex, and yeah there red, justin on here is your man for deals on kit, he's always cheaper than anywhere else simon would of bought me some haix but i'd rather treat myself and get a real nice pair

    i've had haix before but i went for the new kilma air ones this time, and i think they are a lot comfier and i reckon they will last at least as long as my old haix pair, and i got them at a steal form justin

  13. thats dead fair i think, because if they take you on and agree to train you you could just do one on them and they would be out of pocket. if they are good enough to pay for training then you should be good enough to be a loyal employee imo

  15. that's good thinking Steve, does doing that mean that technically you need to get the crane and basket lolered?
  16. yeah, its fast enough, the return cycle could be a bit quicker though. it is a two spped ram, the faster speed is 5 tonnes and the slow is 10. i should be able to get you a video but give me a week or so

  18. yeah, if you were using the electric one all day it would probably cut out about three times on you, but just leave it for enough time for the kettle to boil, and it works again for another few hours, it hasn't tripped any thing yet, it just stops working for a few mins but thats all
