    Yard Rent

a farmer by me, does nothing for nothing. he expects me to do all of his tree work for free if i get the logs. and wants £30 a week plus the vat for rental of a bit of land just about big enough to park a transit on!
  2. i have a nokia 6300, and its bombproof, its been dropped many times in puddles, survived the washing machine twice, and i climb with it in my back pocket all the time and it is still fine. and you can pick it up for only £50.
  3. i agree, having used both saws and owning a 341, it is a much better power to weight ratio, and a 341 is only a little more expensive. definetley a worthwhile investment.
  4. i've also completely ran out of logs. my previous suppliers have realised that there is money to be made in firewood.
  5. how do you make a home made log drying kiln? and is it worthwhile? cheers

  9. Hi, I am after a log splitter, but i was wondering if i was best to go for a table type, or for the horizontal type. all of my logs will be a product of tree surgery, and I cant spend any more than about £1400. any suggestions? cheers
  10. i paid £575 in march for 30 + 31, all in at moreton morrell.
