  9. a good climber doesn't think that he is automatically better than the ground staff, and when they get out the tree to become a member of the ground staff rather than do 'paperwork.'
  10. its similar to that but the swivel on the bottom is more fitted to it then that. it was from global sales in Birmingham (http://www.getitatglobal.co.uk) and was just under £20 and i think that it is the same make as the one in the photo that i put on.
  11. i dont know if anyone has used or seen them but i saw a krab similar to the one in the pic but with a swivel built onto the bottom, this could be a cheaper alternative?

  13. i've got the haix protector pros, and they are a real good boot and still waterproof and ive had them for a year so far with no probs.

  15. well said steve, it will make you start to look for handholds in trees and encourage you to wrap your fingers round the gnarliest bits of bark.

  18. rock climbing and liking being outdoors is what got me into tree suregery, but as soon as i started climbing trees i found rock climbing so boring compared to climbing trees and i have not been since.
