  6. I ordered a strop with a elderid snap hook spliced into the end of it last week from honey bros and it came today, but it had the wrong snap hook on, one that is much bulkier than the one i ordered, i rang up to see what i can do about it and they said just use if you need to and we will send you out a brand new strop with the right snap hook asap! cheers honey bros
  7. ha is it worth getting stickers made and sticking them on your truck like people do with the arb approved stickers?
  8. alright ben?

  9. it might be worth speaking to greenmech because they make and rent out a machine that sound perfect for the job, its called a multi task, and this is what there website says - A self propelled, SAFE Trak style unit, fitted with a full cab and the ability to power a 1.5 metre mulching head, capable of handling 100mm diameter standing timber. The Multi Task is built on the similar concept to a large skid steer loader. The 120 h.p Deutz engine in mounted to the rear of the unit; this powers two powerful hydraulic pumps, one that is designated to drive the steel tracks and the other to power the implement. The SAFE trak stabiliser legs have 600 mm of travel on each side allowing the chassis to remain level on a 30° slope. In addition to this the operator can remain level on angles beyond 35° by electrically swivelling the seat 20° either way. hope this helps.
  10. i know yeah, but their range is very limited, and i agree with you, i have a tree magic but it was a lot cheaper from honey bros than it was tudor, and i tudor only stock 13mm main lines, which is not what he's after.
  11. it seems clear why you would have a soft link so surely you only got to ask why wouldnt you have one? are they a pain or something? cause surely theres no harm in having one just incase.
  12. i have found that tudor are not that cheap and they have a very limited range or arb equipment but that ^ is the right number for them. i think you would probably be better to ring up somewhere like honey bros and get them to do you a good deal. it looks nice quite a nice little list you have there for a first kit:001_cool:
  13. I completely agree, i think that a lot of the lads on my course at college are gonna be in for a real surprise when they get into "the real world". they should at least do a few weeks work experience, as i think this would let them know what they are letting themselves in for.
  14. i was taken from a newbie, when i was 15 for my school work experience for a smallish company, and now i am well looked after, and have heard that you do get treated real bad working for larger companies.
  15. sorry to be nosey, but why have you been made redundant?
