    Work breaks.

we have 1/2 an hour for lunch at whatever time it is appropriate, plus tea breks if we gt tea bought out by the client.
  3. i used to have a honda atc 125, it would pull a tipping ifor williams trailer with a tonne of sand on it just about, and would easily pull a chipper, but then the police caught me going down my lane pulling a trailer load of firewood, and crushed it:thumbdown:

haha yeah, but what they could do is have the control bar rather than the buttons like a jensen, or have buttons easily moveable or on both sides:001_cool:

it would be a hell of a lot easier and safer if they were to the side/
  6. i rang up and ordered my two on Tuesday, so they should be here soon!!
  7. i'm not sure which day im going but im leaning towards saturday as that will probably be the busier day to meet more faces!
  8. haha yep, and willow cuts fairly easily and good work
  9. if it was owning one it would be a landcruiser hands down, but for the one off experience it would have to be hummer!!!
  10. nice work, loving the fact you've got 2 mogs on one job:001_tt1:
  11. haha, that would be a good idea.
  12. im just wandering who is going from here, so i know which faces to keep an eye out for:001_smile:

    that are free:001_cool:
  15. that looks like a proper quality job andy, well done:001_cool:
  16. i have go a 341, and it is a great saw but for a first saw is probably a bit big really. my mate has got a 280 and it is a excellent compromise of the 341 and the 260.
  17. the tree magic is magic. its light, comfy and i can comfortably climb all day in it.
  18. i've got a stihl 08, with a chainbrake and its rubbish. loud, heavy, thirsty, leaks oil and shakes you to pieces. but it was given to me not working and a fresh tank of fuel made it run sweet again, but i wouldn't spend more that about 20 quid on one, I reckon the £100 would be better spent on a new saw.
  19. yeah i've used a mates 280 alongside my 341 and a mates 260, it is a fair bit more powerful than the 260, not as powerful as my 341, but it is a very good saw and would definetley reccomend it above a 260 as it has got such a good power to weight ratio.
  20. whatever you do avoid the makitas, they are cheaply made and the 2 we had at work were crap and fell to bits. i have been told that echos are good saws but they are also quite flimsy, but they are good if it is just you using it and make sure it is well looked after. i have got a stihl 200t and it has never let me down and it will take the knocks etc that a cheaper saw wouldnt, it might be worth you waiting for the arb show and getting a good deal and being able to have a look at them??
  21. Nice work andy:001_cool: what quad have you got and is the crane a engine crane on a trailer??

0ther than my climbing line and strop i only have a first aid kit on my harness. why carry loads of kit with you when you can just get the groundie to tie it on for you?
  23. good luck mate, you'll catch some rays out there!
  24. yep, they are all well friendly and affectionate!
