  1. to be fair thats a good point, i would of probably climbed it if it is just the one tree, maybe got a mewp in if it was a huge row otherwise it probably wouldn't be worth it cus one that big wouldn't be cheap
  2. but surely it would make life (for the doing this tree) so much easier out of a mewp it'd be well worth it . have you ever worked out of a mewp?
  3. well how would you of done the wellingtonia in the picture then? cus i think it'd be bloody difficult to do it from a rope and harness ??

  6. its people like you that teach trainee climbers the importance of getting right out on the tips, which is crap if its you climbing, but when you get down and see how good the tree looks its all well worth it keep it up

  9. i know, i forgot to pick it up i'm still gutted, i'll have to see if i can collect it at this years show
  10. nokia 6300 all the way, mine is always in my pocket, been through the wash twice, in the bath once and dropped all the time, and you can pick um up for like £50
  11. wait for the arb show next month, I paid £350 all in with a 14" bar last year, that was from Lister wilders stand and I would of got a decent free coat but they only had XL, which i would of got one any way but I forgot to pick it up due to the excitement of a new saw

    it was Paul Betambeau, he is a real nice guy and showed us loads of knots and bits and bobs afterwards.

    yeah it was really relaxed and chatty, basically it was just a recreational climb that cost me £130.75 and i got a ticket at the end of it

    i stayed up and it wasn't worth it but i did learn to play poker whilst waiting!!!
