  1. i've just looked on the fuelwood website and they have got special offers on them - electric 10 ton splitter, same os the one in the picture is £1,085 + vat and the kohler engined petrol version is £1,445 + vat
  2. you learn something new everyday....
  3. your a brave man going up there
  4. yeah i saw that, good that they are making the public aware of problems like this
  5. the one we have at work is electric, but i also know someone with a petrol one the same, and it drank about 4 litres of unleaded after splitting the stuff that the axe could not do for about 6 and a half hours solid, so i think the increased output is well worth the input of money, and I know if I was a tree surgeon, even if i was only a one man band I would definitely have one
  6. trust me jack it is a worthwhile consideration, you will effortlessly split a builders bag in about 20 mins an hour with two of you on that splitter, they really are worth the money, and it will last you a long long time
  7. no mate but you will need to spend some thing like £1200 to even make it worth your while, but that will get you a good splitter that will do the job you want it too, and is perfect for tree surgery waste - this is what we have got at work and is perfect for tree surgery waste, and i think is worth every penny. you can get them electric or petrol versions and you can get them from fuelwood, in warwick
  8. even for the rakers
  9. thats class
  10. that would be bang on for straight lines, but what about roundabouts and s bends, it would topple lol
  11. would that even fit a cubic metre of logs on it
  12. after most of that is true i still want one and love them to bits
  13. that would be top if you could please Justin, your a top man :thumbup1:, i'll try and send even more friends and colleagues your way that need stuff
