  1. Does anyone have any experience or reviews about the above trailer? I've got a local dealer to me which is why I'm tempted to give them a go rather than the Ifor Williams equivalent, esp. after peoples comments about the build quality on the newer Ifors.
  2. BUMP - Someone must know a place local to Basingstoke that will take clean woodchip
  3. Looks good, very clean and easy to read
  4. Give arborisk a ring and they will sort you out
  5. Does anyone know of any where I can get rid of woodchip near Basingstoke?
  6. How about you stop trying to ruin Chris's thread of which a lot of people enjoy to see how he is getting on and support him and just stick to your thread where you can say what you want!! It would also help if you wrote in actual words and proper sentences!! RANT OVER! Chris - keep up the good work and I hope things work out for the best!!
  7. <p>Hi Sam, can you give me a call about Thursday please on 07787 997822. Thanks Laurence</p>

  8. Looking for a self employed climber for Thursday 13th March (Next week) in the Newbury area. Will lead to future work if you are a hard worker. Pay negotiable depending on experience. Tickets and own equipment essential. Call 07787 997822 or pm on here Laurence L Parker Tree Services
  9. I will have a Nissan navara for sale soon. High mileage but is reliable. Looking for between £2500-£3000. Pm me for more details
  10. Can anyone give me some feedback on the above chipper please...good and bad!
  11. Mines on 206,000 so I think you can get a few more miles out of yours!
  12. I always tag and where appropriate underscore the tags with orange paint so that they can be seen. Can't understand why you would do a survey and not tag the trees.....seems pointless!
  13. Social media can be very powerful but needs to be kept current by posting regularly and with relevant information. I've had work come in from mine and is free publicity.
  14. Looking for a sub contact groundsman or climber in Newbury area that is happy to undertake a range of work from hedge cutting, dismantles etc. We are a growing company with contracts with the local council and wildlife trust. Would also suit someone training if they are willing to learn and hard working! PM if your interested.
  15. Ive got a CLOW ladder, was cheaper than a ZARGES but will good quality
  16. Hi All, Got a job coming up in Grove, just outside Wantage with several loads of conifer chip coming off it. Anyone know somewhere local to drop the woodchip off? Thanks Laurence
  17. I normally work within a 20mile radius but will go further if the price is right.
  18. Turn up on time, bring a pack lunch and plenty of fluids (esp. in this warm weather), be polite and always ask if unsure of something.....ohhh and always look up before going under the tree and check the climber isn't about to drop something!

    great saddnes

    Sorry for your loss Jose.
  20. There comes a point where you have to ask yourself.....do you live to work or work to live!? Surely your relationship is more important than work.
  21. I had a similar problem on my 200T, new cap sorted the problem !
  22. Cheers for all the comments. Hadn't thought about the extra drag on the limbs as pulled from the river. Was thinking that the person tying the limbs on would be wearing a buoyancy aid with a rescue line ready if necessary. Might also look at setting up a safety line that you can clip onto when working near the edge, similar to those on ships.
  23. Bump - has anyone got any experiences with these winches?
