1.
Hi Sam, can you give me a call about Thursday please on 07787 997822. Thanks Laurence

2. I know that the truck or Landy ones at the moment have rocketed up in price due to the regulations for Scottish & Southern electric contractors changing. It seems even something that doesn't involve lots of people have made them much more expensive the last few months!!! Mad world we live in!! We've got two land rover mewps and they're great, but for me tracked can't be beaten. Even the Land rovers struggle to get to certain places. Growing old disgracefully :-) 07932278358 Sam
3. Exactly the same dude, bottom one bent. Husky know it's a problem by all accounts and aren't doing anything about it. I use a hook on my harness to reduce the tool strop use. And it seems to be working but it is annoying. Still love it though :-) Growing old disgracefully :-)
4. Fair enough Stubby, I was more mocking the die hard 200 fans for saying that "it's not as good as the 200". It's all I hear, and we should let that saw go now. I love the T540, it feels quality, feels like a sturdy solid saw. I had a carb issue with mine, and the anti vibe mount snap from the base plate, but then she has seen some work since I got it and all the repairs were done for free. You're right, the 200 was king.....we will see if husky take that title in the coming months & years..... Growing old disgracefully :-)
5. The Husky is a great saw, obviously the 200 is still king and probably always will be....but it's 2013 and the don't make them anymore!! We should face facts and move on, Modifying any saw will kiss goodbye to any warranty but I've heard it does work bloody well! So personally I would pick the T540 all day long. Every climber I know loves the 200, but they are gone....accept it people and let it go :-)) Growing old disgracefully :-)
6. It's not a Q Cerris, there is very distinctive red fissures in the bark on a Turkey oak, I agree that it's probably a hybrid between the Sessile and Cerris :-) Growing old disgracefully :-)
7. T540 all day long. Great saw. Growing old disgracefully :-)
8. Thanks for all the responses people, sorted. Gave it a bash today and it isn't bad. Live and learn everyday.
9. Can anyone help me, I am fairly new to this business. while I was at college an instructor showed up a set up that pulled the prussik up the rope while you are climbing. He used a piece of chainsaw pull cord and a small pulley. Can anyone tell me how this is set up. It is driving me nuts :-)
10. Give me a call, I have NPTC 30, 31, 38, 39. I am a newbee but getting quicker by the day :-) 07432636853 Sam
