  3. Sorry to hear that dude. Hope she makes a speedy recovery!!
  4. More PPE ?!?! Any PPE is only a last resort if an accident should happen!! If you are trying to reduce the number of accidents that happen then stop the incompetent chainsaw/machinery users by enforcing people to have the relevant tickets/experience. I'm not saying this will stop all accidents but it would prevent those that are not professional from trying to do a highly dangerous and skilled job.
  5. Fair point - better you doing it safely and getting the money for it than the farmer trying to get it done on the cheap by a "tree surgeon"!
  6. Cheers for sharing them! Some amazing photos in there:thumbup1:
  7. Some good pics there......shame I didnt get any from around Thathcam/Newbury!! Was too busy trying to cycle through the flood waters to get to elderly relatives that had been flooded out
  8. Nice pics!! Shame that it had to be felled though
  9. Im currently working for a LA and will probably be putting up my fair share of bird/bat boxes. Was wondering what kinda heights your putting them at? Would you say that strapping up piece of timber with natural decay features is more effective than man made?
