  1. Ohhh if only I did own that barn!! would be ideal for log storage but I know if store them in there they will go missing/piss off my boss!!!!
  2. I'm thinking about storing logs so that I can start to sell them next winter. What is the best way to store them to minimise the amount of work to process them? Any thoughts/your experiences welcomed! Cheers
  3. Nicely done Dean Just shows what a Land Rover will do when driven properly!!
  4. Why did the dog owner have to take the car to take his dog for a walk.....surely it would have been easier for him to WALK with his dog along the pavement!! I agree with you Dean - maybe he will learn for next time....!
  5. Yeah can see that it will make life a lot easier:001_smile: Word of advice though - be careful not to shine it at areoplanes/helicoptors as it blinds the pilots and you can be arrested for it.
  6. Just goes to show that the risk assessment/emergency action plan might actually get used! Makes it worth while filling them in just in case!! Round of applause for the emergency services for responding so quickly!!
  7. Quality films - got all three on DVD!! I doubt they would make a fourth as it wouldnt follow with the story line.....would be good though!!

  10. Best before dates are only there so that the supermarkets can make more money and make sure they dont get sued if someone eats something thats out of date and becomes ill. Let your instincts tell you whether its edible or not !
  11. Cheers for the replies everyone - went to a van dealership yesterday and they have advised me to get a vaxual astravan and then use it with a trailer. Will be the most economical vehicle to get as im still travelling 50mile round trip to college 2/3days a week.
  12. Ive got a 441 and never had any problems with it.
  13. True - but I reckon you could use a panel van in the same way....might just be a bit more effort and work involved.
  14. Cheers for the comments so far ! keep them coming
  15. Haha - I was thinking a Land Rover 130 with a tipper body but am now moving off this idea! Too expensive !! Has anyone had experience of Transit SWB panel vans? dont really need a tipper/flat bed at the moment
  16. Hi everyone- as the title says I was wondering what vehicles you had when you first started out. Im looking at getting my first vehicle for general garden/tree work that is economical and cheap to insure (im only 18!) Any thoughts would be welcome!
  17. haha - where do you get the corpse from though im sure there are plenty of scum that society would like to vanish but not sure on the legalities......
  18. Sorry to hear abouts this - no one wants their family/loved ones put into danger but as Stuart A-C said taking some precautions may be a wise idea. As much as I want to come and set up an arbtalk op and beat the **** into them I think the best way would be inform the police. From the sound of it they aren't scared of you seeing/hearing them so trying to face them would just cause them to get reinforcements/even more violent! The police may have a good idea who they are and are just waiting to get some more evidence before they arrest them. Hope you sort it out!
  19. I agree!! I know a few police officiers (some quite high up) and apperently the police are doing everything to catch the ****ers but because the prisons are full they just get a slap on the wrist by the court and go straight back into society! Doesnt help that if they do go to prison they have 3meals a day, a warm bed to sleep in and get training grants when they come out! What kinda punishment is that?!?!?!
  20. I was thinking of doing chapter 8 to make me more employable(currently a student). Is it worth it? Do you really need it ?
