  5. Its fine If you get pleasure out of it, and you're neighbours are happy with it, keep it, get an professional arborist in to subtly reduce the tree to propper reduction points as and when it gets too big for you, its surroundings, or too close to the house. In a few years time it may need to be reduced frequently, maybe once a year, maybe once every 2 years, as unfortunatly trees do have a habit of growing! If we keep felling everything because theres a drain in the next county, a house within 100M, leaves on the lawn, urban areas are going to look very dull soon.

  17. Found a link to it Fletcher Stewart STEIN Crane Bag has been developed through the frustrations of getting Slings and Chains tangled in the canopy of trees during crane removals. The bag has been designed to hold your main anchor sling and support legs in one place with a specially tapered base which allows the bag to pass cleanly through the canopy of the tree to the waiting climber. I did actually have the problem of the slings getting caught up as being lowered through the canopy on tuesday EDIT, just the crane bag i think . . .

  20. Tuesday was my first full dismantle with a crane, no instruction just made it up as i went along 36M (118ft) Elm in Carl Von Linnés Trädgård, Uppsala, Sweden, Carl V.L was the guy who developed the latin clasification for plants, this was at his private garden. Big thanks to the ground crew who were faultless, and the crane driver. Smaller pieces because of the tight landing zone. I was pleased, so to the boss, free lunches from a nearby invitation only restaurant, and as a bonus, boss is paying for a night out for my girlfriend and I Enjoy [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hYcrrz2cH6E]YouTube - Linné trädgård video 2[/ame]
