  2. If your companys got a 7.5t tipper, 18t grab wagon, a climber and 2 groundies, 1 day, £1250+ plus 50t crane cost (to make things easy )
  3. how do volunteers take real peoples jobs when they dont get paid!? imo they help the 'real people' by normally doing the crap jobs

  5. i dont use them so you can get a perfect pruning cut on a small flexible branch facing away from you in the canopy with a saw 4 or 5 meters away?

  7. If you want to get into the conservation sector, voulenteer first, it really is the only way to get in, i did through school to avoid doing 5 days a week from 14 and had a job as soon as i left with the RSPB

  10. what makes a good lowering rope and why? whats the construction diffrences? looking for a new heavy rigging rope for use on a fixed bollard any experienced persons opinions on which one AND why? thanks

  12. my girlfriend works in gardening and landscaping, with 3 other girls inc the boss, they can and all do wear vests in the sun but have to wear a sports bra (think that what its called)

Another one here for the lucky guy statistics she does simmilar work-gardens and landscaping, so whoever's home first cooks dinner, prepares brekkie, and makes lunchboxes i am teaching her to appreciate the full english, (funnily enough its not traditional in sweden:confused1:) then once thats done, i'll teach her how to cook it

  17. ARS, at a trade fair in febuary got given some ARS hand saws and snips to play with, the hand saws were utter crap, but the snips are awesome. the previous week i had brought a new set of felcos, but havnt used them since got the ARS ones! I think in the states their branded crocidile

  20. Cool to hear dave, was actually looking at the harkie page yesterday, the harnes looks comfy. does it come with a caritool on both sides? Ive been looking at getting one of the harkie Smocks sent over for the Scandinavian winter, their whole range looks good in the pics!
