  1. took a swing into a peg (lesson learnt) went to hospital next day just to stop my then girlfriend giving me ear-ache, 3 hours out of hospital with 3 cracked ribs, was back climbing, admitidly slowly and like a robot! just take it steady, most of the pain went after about a week, but had twinges for a month when twisting in the harness or lifting
  2. i dont reckon schumacher is the stig-looks too slim compared to last series stig! reckon he was there just to drive the fxx-ferrari prob wouldnt let anyone else anywhere near it!
  3. or printer ink! dont worry about the tree work, they dont worry about silly stuff like trees, the bloke will turn up on site in trainers, shorts, no helmet or any other ppe, and check for empty crisp packets in the truck, dust on the dashboard, or scratched saws - a sure sign of bad tree work that so dont eat youre lunch, vallet youre truck and polish youre saws then once hes gone, you can actually get on, and do some tree work
  4. youre project will be a book joe, this will be the never-ending thread! stihl for me as was the first saw i used at 13 and never really given huskys a chance, just think its easier to stick with one brand oh and i dont like the huskys start/stop switch or choke thingys, stihls one is a real neat design
  5. why diddnt you thin the upper right hand side of the crown whilst you were there, for asthetics if nothing else?
  6. got oak and ash and beech which matches what youre after, will be getting an alaskan mill at the aa fair, so anytime after youre welcome to come select what you want for a few pints at me local

  10. for a rope bag, go to an army surplus store, huge range of kit bags, i got one that carries all basic climbing gear inc rope and harness for 7 quid, bargin
  11. timberwolf because it matches the colour of our trucks oh, cost, reliability, adequate performance, simplicity and makes a good table for fixing saws/standing on all comes into it aswell
  12. just pester youre local companys, if they ask for a c.v, tell them you can come round with it instead, if you have to kick the door down to get youre foot in the door, kick the bloody thing down!

  19. ive known of 3 people to use bio diesel, one used it in both (newish) cars, and his old vw tipper, seemed to run fine for over a year, then both cars started playing up, after residue build up all over the engines, cost a fortune to put right, only the old vw ran ok, prob due to simpler engine design personally id stay away
  20. id second that, and ale dosent give you the burps unlike larger, because thats real attractive when you start talking to a girl isnt it? "hey, fancy a BURRRRRP drink???":001_smile:
  21. red wines nothing like sex, it gives you a head ache after. . . . .second thoughts, maybe it is like sex:001_tongue:
  22. 110 all the way, offroad ability between the two is neglible untill you start going stupid places. i wouldnt go for the doublecab pickup as theyve got a smaller load area than a 90! 110 makes better tow vehicle, better ride quality (thats a joke its a landy!) 110 td5 station waggon, rear side seats removed, mud tyres, roof rack, chequre plate kit, perfect work horse carry fuel/ladders/hedgetrimmers/brushcutters on the roof
