  3. it was only 34C today, a little cold i thought, so felled my shade and made a crane loaded bonfire, took the chill off things
  4. any joy with the pics yet mate??
  5. i love the heat too dave, really annoys me in winter you get people saying 'i hate the cold, wish it was summer' then allong comes summer 'i hate this heat, roll on winter' ive suffered from heatstroke once, not nice, but better than freezing youre gonads off
  6. i like dry roasted peanuts and i like cornwall . . . sorted
  7. i dont see any problem working in jeans when its hot
  8. a mere 172 miles, mike hill came from norway-my bets on that being the furthest!
  9. err (jennys photo)
  10. wait and get a feel for the saws at college/work placements, try as many different models as you can, a 200T is for climbers only, so will hinder you as H&S say we're not allowed to use them on the ground no-one will expect a new worker/trainee to bring their own saw, only maybe boots, trousers and helmet just be patient and wait
  11. 3rd that, checked mine daily when i had it, i had a tree flex 2-3yr ago only used it for 7months, had one of the faulty bridge ones, where they haddnt used the correct stitching, and as there was a protective sheath, you couldnt notice it. there was a recall after a guy (abroard i think) had his fail. when i looked at mine, there was no way it was going to take shock-loading, or possibly another climb-there was a 10mm gap between the folds with the stitching 50% appart-scary stuff!
  12. hogroast x 4 beer x4 200T (hard to refuse at that price) blaze climbing line
  13. best crack it out tommorrow then! wait a min, its still daylight, what you doing on here
  14. 880 is far to big for a fire-wood saw, totally un-nessary unless youre ringing up 4 foot plus diameter! 460 all the way best place to buy? AA trade fair this fri/sat
  15. pics pics pickety pics!
  16. yep, just been out, put an old 020 carb on, tuned it, runs a treat again, dont know what was up with the old carb, put a new diaphram kit on so thought that would be it for fettling the carb, obviously not, not even our local dealer could figure it out-they just returned it with the problem, then again they are beyond useless:thumbdown: was doing my head in as thought id covered everything! thanks everyone!
  17. does porting keep them cooler then? the 10yr old 020 is ported and an animal! cheers for replies
  18. will an old 020 carb fit the MS200? got a few 020s kicking around to try
  19. MS200T running crap, will idle for a bit then occassionally will start idiling irratically, revs up and down but not enough to run the chain, then stalls its-self. also if i pull the throttle trigger too quickly it will either take a second at a deeper tone like the chain-brakes on, then rev up or will stall-need to apply throttle slowly to prevent this air and fuel filters fine, stripped/cleaned/rebuilt carb, checked spark plug, retuned it/fiddled with tuning and now stumped to what to do! any ideas? it has had 2 years of hard use, so maybe its times up? may have to take a trip to jonsies at the AA! then again my 020 is 10years old and still going strong
  20. i like that little one alot!
  21. lol, swb aka the black night [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zKhEw7nD9C4]YouTube - Monty Python-The Black Knight[/ame]
  22. what were the results for the above saws john?
  23. depends what youre used to i guess, then agian, the light switches and eletrical switches at home all flick up to turn off i like the fact that its the on/off, choke, and half throttle is all on one switch, simpler imo
  24. some interesting ones from today, not 100% on topic
