did you register the ex army lorry as an agri vehicle? how do you go about it? anyone else have experience of this, and running ag registered vehicles on the road? is there an agri/forestry catorgrey? what hoops do you have to jump through to get this? one of my farmer mates reckons you can only drive 10 miles away from youre yard on ag registered vehicles, and between youre land, but ive also read on here that its a 100km radius? also heard of ag registered with extended road use, can anyone explain? ive been on dvla, and emailed them last week regarding regestring an ex military vehicle for civillian use, but more specifically for ag/forestry work but waiting to hear back from them thanks

i have, cheers. diddnt realise there were air filter upgrades, why manufacture the saws with substandard parts as standard?? 046, ms660 and ms880 will all be getting upgraded

reputation, word of mouth, more money than sence. weve recently done work in central london because of reputation/word of mouth, inc one day, 2 men deadwooding a 30ft acacia, and felling 2 6inch dia pines + extra traveling costs. made about a wheel barrow of chipping! ive dismantled a eucalyptus in devon-a mighty high price as 2 days was travelling!

overwhelmed by the helpfullness of these messages youre right bob, it is a good job i dont work for you, otherwise youre LA tree gang would run out of you're years work by the end of next week i dont see the problem, the metal dosent even begin to blue if you take youre time, unless im in a rush, then i'll force them on the wheel so hard that the grinder stops, the spikes glow red and i have to wear welding gauntlets as the heat is transfered all the way up:sneaky2:

are you sure?? or am i being stupid:001_tongue: so a transit with a chip box on the back which is say 6cubic meters full of wood weighs (going by youre 28cube-ton) approxmatly 220kgs?

we're working at a site at the moment in a conservation area, name gives it away-'the old arboretum' some really nice trees inc an old mulberry which has fallen appart and continued growing, only about 15-20ft tall but a spread of about 20-25ft the builders were going to chuck all their waste on it and burn it!

species dependant, last week took a green elm down, butt was approx 4.5ftx7ft and the hiab with a 3.3ton lift wouldnt lift it more than a foot, today done a sycamore, stem was approx 4ftx20ft and lifted it no prob what are the trees?

crab is my favorite on white toast, sarnies, salads for a fish, size wize enough for one (14inch long?)just put in pre heated oven 180deg brush/drizle with oil around 25min-half hour dont cover, add herbs if you want. should come off the bone easily (skin on) salmon fillet- oven 180-200, stick on foil skin down, ad green pesto ontop lemon salt pepper bit of olive oil wrap in foil like pastry on a pasty about 15min should fall appart

light reduction, or pollard reductions mine, although not very pleased with it, pollard is on university sports ground reduced plenty of walnuts, all came back healthy

i got a tree flex as a spare harness, is comfy-alot more than the willans it replaced, got a treemagic now which is what i prefer. with any harness just take time adjusting it correctly
