  1. Thanks for the advice guys. My other option is to take the Cs30,31,32,38,39 short courses and try and get on with a crew and start the course Sept 2010. I have a good knowledge of tree species which would hopefully help me. Would you recommend this route or the ND which includes Cs30,31. The costs aren't a problem. Thanks again Chris
  2. Hello I am starting a BTEC in Arboriculture in September and then going on to tree surgery and would like your advice on which chainsaw would be best for the course and the following work. I'm thinking of opting for Stihl as they're recommended and I am happy with other Stihl tools I have but if you think anything in the Husqvarna range would suit better please let me know. I know there's the specialist MS200T Arborist chainsaw but I am thinking this will hinder me if I need to do anything more heavy duty. I have my eye on the MS341 but would like some professional advice before I make a purchase. Thanks people Chris
