  1. The son in law who is a plumber charges £27.00 Ph is that more than tree workers charge? I doubt it. There are good and bad in all walks of life.
  2. They might impond your tractor and trailer and crawl all over them and they will find faults. That is what happened to a guy i know. Is it worth the hassle and fine?
  3. Never had a problem when i had mine!I would buy another You guys down south can get them a lot cheaper than us.

  5. As far as i know it is up to the customer of the phone company to get there trees cut back now if they are causing an obstruction.. To me they should be doing what the electricty companies do and look after there lines after all you are paying for a service.

  9. The workshop that i use used to be an ibea dealer but wont stock them now because they are not the quality they used to be. He put his stock to auction to get rid of it.

  11. I used to run forklift tyres on a 16 ft custom built (heavy)trailer and never had a problem.Before that nothing but blowouts with standard heavy duty tyres.. I cant remember there tyre make as it was a few years ago.
  12. You will just have to go to the hire company and pay them the going rate like the council have to do.
  13. If your boss reads this i doubt you will be borrowing anything again unless you pay the appropriate fees and even then.. Or is this a windup? born2trot, Dont go into the yard expecting to get anything because its not up to them to hire direct. You need to contact the transport division because a lot of the bigger stuff is on a lease to the concil.They then hire (manage)out everything to each dept.

  18. As far as i know they have to make a commecial profit. They do not own the equipment they use it is hired from there transport division. Thats how it used to be or it might have changed.

  22. I think you will find the 236 is the uk equivalent domestic saw. Correct me if im wrong.
  23. Just watch who you are contacting because a lot of the insurance companies are owned by RBS for example.When you get a quote there is a good chance that that one will flag up when you try to get a quote from an other brand name. Have you tried a local broker?
