  1. The tractor + op prices that i have range from 24.00/£32.00 ph.. Add on what you think your botex should cost .Remember any repair bills that you may incur and insurance.

  3. Im surprised you asked that question when you've got a two main dealers in your own town.They supply better washers than machine mart stock and one will even repair on site if you wish.

  6. The council downplated there trailers to 2000 kg. It allowed there transit type vehicles to pull them within the law. That was at least 12 years ago.
  7. Trailer plates can be downgraded at any time but must be rivoted on or similar.
  8. Ye its good that you can have a choice to buy locally.Gammies must be one of the oldest companies selling arb stuff even though it has changed hands yet again.First dealt with them about 1970. Sorry about the thread derail.

  10. Give Strathbogie a phone about repairing it etc if the supplier will not change it but only do a repair.. Might save you a lot of time and the price of fuel. Stereo; Always better too much oil than too little.
  11. Thats not good i had a 260 and regret selling it. I would think you will be very lucky to get it changed or refund after this time but they will repair it. Did you buy it at Kintore or Huntly?
  12. Thats an old trick to pour oil on the bar when you do a top up . Im glad you mentioned it because i was going to but didn't in case i got shot down in flames..Just don't do it on lockblock etc.

Used a post hole driver for years and never had a problem.Get your blacksmith to make a custom square one to stop your post turning when they hit stones.We sometimes use a post maul but it depends on the job.A sledgehammer is what you use on steel and no use for posts.You have to used a pinchbar to make a hole in the ground first. A hand post borer is no use in stoney ground unless you want a broken wrist.

  16. Farmers that i know have had to apply for a burning licence. Its a simple thing to apply for and costs nothing.

  20. Up to 750kg over that it has to have a plate. There was word that they were thinking of changeing those figures.

  24. I run BFG 235/85/16 Muds without any issues.
  25. He has a large rates bill for a start,maybe more than a lot of people There is also stock and machines to consider. He can also wait upto a year to get payed. Plumbers have the same waste licence as everybody else,SEPA up here. Everybody is having a hard time at present unless your out for a fast buck.
