  6. So let me try and get my head around this, why pay as much if not more for a pair of non protective boots, fair doos a cheep pair of climbing boots for buzing about a tree with a silky but if you have spikes on you will be holding a chainsaw so should you not also have on ppe type boots?? Ps love my old salomon scrambaling boots for survay or hot day silky only climbing only wish they still made them as were under £70
  7. That is the squirrel world answer to Arny I would not want that thing angry and up a tree with me! But it would help feed a family of 4 for a night, squirrel pie droooool
  8. Looks interesting as a pre installable and retrevable rigging point and better than a beener for redirect's
  9. We had that a few years ago on a site clearance, the company we were working for wanted us to put on a flame retardent overall over the top of our normal ppe we refused on h&s grounde of heat fatigue and ability to get out of the way of hazards if needed to so had to fill in a disclaimer about if all because some fool had burnt himself while filling a cut off saw and smoking at the same time.
  10. made this for a mate from a lump of oak with the alasken, go for something a little different as a feture in the room.
  11. Just leaving chip on the back of the landy over the weekend can give you a nice place to warm hands on a monday morning! You will have to get quick hitch to swap the mini digger from the grab to bucket so we can dig out his store when it all go's wrong!
  12. I think farmi did one to fit there grabs.
  13. Still got a new 1 on my shelf and keep thinking should i sell it or hold onto it incase the new husky aint all its building up to be so i will have the best topper for a few more years, i think it would have to be a TOP offer to make me part at the mo but the 6yold 1 will be going on the bay soon as wife gets around to it.
  14. Depends on what you call top money....
  15. This thred made me stop and think about how i ended up where i am now and why i have made the changes that i have and i think most of it comes down to something was making me unhappy so I worked out what that something was and did something about it. Also makes me feel i should track down a teacher from my school who gave me advice similar to the vid and thank him for it as 16 years down the line im not stuck on the tredmill of life running just to stay in the same place hating every minet of it just because thats what is expected of me.
  16. DMM pinto on my lanyard, pully saver and as of last week a saw pod. I resisted the dual but the 3001 suduced me into parting with cash.
  17. was that a tip you were counting out in vid 2 for not busting the shed? looks hard work just getting into a position to make a safe cut and avoid a wire slaping you round the head, stay safe and make the most of it.
  18. About 6-7" johny, all that was wanted to be able to turf over the hole, I can go deeper with the rg13 but try and avoid it and if I do I use a vermeer 252
  19. Diamond teeth, No. Running late, in bother with the wife again, Yes. Amazing how fear gives you so much energy?
  20. 25min flat out and its oak cut about 3ish years ago.
  21. Its exactaly the same as mine, so the hire company even coppiedmy choice of machine. I would rather grind a beech than a willow any day!
  22. Like skyhuck said some1 seas you doing well with something and think "ill have a bit of that", happened to me yesterday, a local plan hire firm I get a lot of grinding referels from just got themselvs a new rg13 on monday so insted of passing on my number they will now hire jo public the grinder for about 2/3 of what I would have charged so they can struggle on and feel like they have made a saving. Like ty is saying having a little grinder can just add a nice bonus to the end of a job and make the client feel like you care about leaving everything as tidy as possible insted of saying you will be back some time to sort it for them when its worth you while hiring in a machine.
  23. Ah answered my own question by looking on your site, type a just over 60 quid inc vat grand price that is!
  24. Do you do type b in these or even a, dont stray from type c often so a quality make at this good price would be ok for the amount I use them.
  25. Nice shiny grinder, new leavers look a lot bigger than the last version tell the boss to get some duel wheels for it or you will spend half your working day turning it back over everytime your go on a side slope.
