  1. Best promo vid I have seen for a while, with so many uses it must cost a fortune
  2. Off to check mine over tomorrow but aint spotted any yet.
  3. Im in if i can get a pass of the wife
  4. Thats the problem, only get to think about it these days
  5. Just A thought but if lgpeddie fancied finding a nice blond and doing the finishing scenes for us with his 360 and tilt rotator.......
  6. Ow boy my wife is going to wish she didnt make me come shopping the next time we go!!!!!!!!
  7. Try this on the wife but check the life insurance first. Hope the link works as never tryed this before , if not someone please correct it for me.
  8. It may snap more often than steel but it won't take some poor sods legs of when it do! I was lucky 1 day when a cable snaped and raped itself around my legs, chainsaw trousers and waterproof's ment only brusing. Anouther plus of synthetic line is it can be easily field spliced with only a pointy stick.
  9. For a good price on plasma line try Rufftraks from scotland<just got some 11.5 mm for the winch on the rb44. And if you only need it 9.5mm they can give you a fetching pink rope in aid of brest cancer charity.
  10. Its not far off as fast as a 200t, we raced them a few times last week in different timbers while I had one on demo Up to about 6" timber not a lot of differance in when the logs fell, over this and the 200t started to show the extra power but big timber is not what this saw was designed for. We also did some races of off the harness, start/turn on saw, cut branch, turn off, return to harness and the battery saw won every time by quite a bit. If i get some spare money I will be getting one on order as found it prefect for street tree pruning which i do quite a bit off and as my mate pointed out no more burn holes in the leg. and anouther pluss point is getting to take the piss out of the old school lads who forget and go to drop start it out of habit till they carnt find the starter.
  11. Good set of photos of what looked like quite a delicet sort of job, its good to see that effort is being made to use the tree and then re use the sculpture when the time comes unlike a few around me that have simpaly rotted away. Loving that little mog and treelife look a very pro company, nice one.
  12. dont think its a botex trailer but something that has had the crane grafted on, just check out the condition of the draw bar as if it was not made to have a big crane over it all the time it may be a little bent. good strong crane and dare i say it pos better than the newer 560tl's.
  13. Tidy but 10g when I got mine for 6+ vat with a winch and only 15000 on the clock.
  14. over two weeks now for an oil pump grrrrrrrrr!!!! a whole new crank case was quicker but to keep me sweet i got to play with a new t536lixp for a few days. one more problem with it and I will be doing the same as Hodge!
  15. Doing some council street tree pruning today and a well dodgy bloke was doing a flyer drop for tree work along the same street, shreded hi viz and a muddy huddy, very pro looking. had some old boy come out wanting to know if it was us and could we steem clean his drive as it was one of many services on offer.
  16. Stihl ms280 or husqvarna 350 both crappy saws The 280 is a lone saw while the 560xp is getting fixt again. Although I did have a very bad 3120 that fell to bits on the 1st tree I cut with it but swapped that for a 088 about 12 years ago.
  17. Best saw I have ever had, like having a big saw in a little frame, mad dressing out saw with a 13" bar and a beast with a 20" chogging down a pole, I smile, whenever I start it up then just weight for it to brake down again. Non of the outher lads will use it incase it brakes while in there hand. Best ever saw but the most unreliable! I have saws that are over 10 years old that have never seen the dealer never mind 3 times in 3month. I do feel like writing a strongly worded letter the husqvarna expressing my disapointment in this perticular friday afternoon saw and requesting a replacement. My plan was to invest in a new top handle when they come out but now not so sure and nor or 2 of my subby lads so sure about getting 560xp's of there own.
  18. Ok 3month old 560 best saw i have ever had but... 1) new starter housing and fan as damaged the fins when it disintergrated. 2) two of the starter housing bolts broke off a week later so needed a whole new crank case. 3) now part of the oil pump has fullen apart so a new one and the worm drive as chewed that up as well. In all the saw has spent nearly a month back at the dealers who have been very good about it but now its starting to get on my wick having a saw down all the time, not a happy cutter.
  19. Yes the replacements come with a screw in ring on them so just undo the bolt and remove the velcro straps and fit the new 1 into the same hole, 10 min tops.
  20. But at 23grand you would have to skid a hell of a lot of timber to make it pay!
  21. full again! 3 times off 1 hedge, I need the bigger truck sorting out soon.
  22. bet your steering is nice and light when you fill that treequip, have you had to have the disco replated as I thought they were only 3ton gross?
  23. If they still shift back try rapping the strap around the shank before doing them up, works for me.
