  1. Said I always wanted one not that I can afford 1 after the rb44 evolution, would really like to own a very tidy 6 x6 I once used with a 18-20 ish m mewp on it and it was a v 8
  2. Problem is once you have put any sort of tape or warning up you are admitting to a problem/danger so if mr I know better still go's in and gets hurt you could be deemed responsible, better to just deal with and remove the danger asap or if its long term exclusion that mettle fencing you get on building sites is about the only option.
  3. She tips, now with luck all the alli will be finished by the weekend and I can get her back and some flashes fitted and some hi vizy stuff on the tailgate
  4. Feels like iv had a day out just looking at all your pictures, must try and get back ton london this year, kew for me and N H M to look at all the dino scelingtons with my little girl.
  5. The last pick really gives the scale of how big that stick is
  6. Would prob make it less as the axles are so much more heavy so eating into the gross weight of the landy ie 3.5 ton unless you found some way of reclassification of the tuck. It would look well smart turning up in one
  7. Not mobile watchable will have to fire up the old pc later
  8. I was refering to something like a bandit beast horazontal grinder or the like, just drop it in an wave bye bye
  9. Nice going dan, your insperation piece is by tommy crags and sits about 2 mile from me, iv just taken out a few trees in the garden so it can be seen more and its huge. Keep us posted as you get on
  10. Check out some of there outher vids, looks so alian not having a chipper on site and just trucking it away. They must have a beast back at the yard to deal with it all.
  11. Just got a 25ltr 1 for 55quid, rrp190 , because it had no box a little scratch and no air line with it, box set of line, spray thing, jet thingy for cleaning things and some sort of oil gun for 25quid, bargain
  12. Sip are good and longer in the legs
  13. Go for it bud, will you keep the range or part ex it. If you want a nice chipbox making check out the bloke doing my truck, A F alloy bodies, near crook .
  14. Do you meen directly employee off a council or as a contractor? Its already common practice for a lot off council's to send thear staff on refresher days as it covers them incase off accident but for a private company to do this for every member off staff would push up cost unbarabuly and push us out of being as competative and just leave it open for the likes of enterprise, tillhill etc. I can understand doing refresher day on things like arial rescue and 1st aid, the things that are not done every day but to sit and be told how to refit a bar and chain and cross cut a log would just be insulting to most professional arborists
  15. I run a 20" on mine and was surprised how well it runs it and not just disking bits off a log but proper felling off some quite big pine that normaly id have use the 660 for but I think a 25" might be overdoing it unless for use up a tree for the odd bigger cuts where you want to keep saw weight down.
  16. You and me both bud, would cost me a fortune unless they do bulk discounts
  17. Thought you hated the 1 we used before? Mind you with it being a mewp you could get a decent speed on the clock, about 125mph I think just a shame the legs had to be down to do it
  18. Sounds like the sort that if you can manage with without him, do without him. I for 1 no longer have the pashance for people who wont listen and try and learn, inexperience is 1st thing but not giving a **** is anouther!
  19. Dont extract it till it exceptable, once his pay plumets he will sort himself out. Used to drive me mad when hand cutters would leave brash in the heaps, just no need! Ash is heavy so prob thought a good way off boosting his wages, that is if he can tell the difference, worked with a few so called pro cutters who had hardly any tree ident skills in the past.
  20. Had a panic when I saw the title as thought you had been quoted £972 to do a cs30 course, prob going to change everything so the qualifications only lasts a few years so you have to refresh or not hold a ticket!
  21. I think I spotted that being dragged south on the A1 on monday morning closely followed by a safetrack. Think I used one off these about 10 years ago at fountain's good chipper but heavy and never maintain so always blunt but just kept working.
  22. Could have been me, but was I in landy? Normaly take that grinding, vermeer 252 grinder? Should have stopped for a natter
