  1. You mean 4 times as productive till it brakes down again.... Fantastic to see the old girl going back to work again after some1 had given up on her, keep us posted.
  2. Not workshop quality but good for sorting stuff when nowt ells available, like said be careful undoing an overtight 880 bar nut or it will give.
  3. Just got my barclays account sorted, they wer very good, got 2years free banking just for asking, got a local branch with a business manager in 3days a week, english (well in glasgow ) call centre. So as far as I can tell best off a bad bunch. Ow and I can do all my online stuff, payments check balance etc on my phone.
  4. How many ponies under the bonnet on this beast, match this up with a 5-6 ton 360 with a grab and you would have a hell off a good ground clearance set up especially since man loading it can controle it remotely.
  5. I put on my old butterfly for a little light lime pruning a few weeks back as could not be botherd to take all my snazal of the TM, yes it felt lighter buzzing about with nowt but a silky on me but by hell did my back hurt later that day, lesson taken - stick with the best! On anouther note will the new hevy TM be compatable with a chest rig type thing for a croll now that the back saw ring is classed as ppe so green?
  6. You could look at the Rock grinder, cheep and cheerful but a mate has one to do the stuff that his 252 can not get into and says it is far better than the little vermeer that he had, I think there may be a few threds about them. Ps; never used it myself so dont take my word for it.
  7. No clips, not good! for the amount that its going to save is it worth it? give me comfort any day! I was thinking of making mine less light by adding the bigger back pad for more comfort for them big saw days...
  8. I have found with my RG13 that sometimes grinding the stump might take a little longer than with a bigger machine the job gets finished sooner as i dont have to make a return trip to site to grind as the rg will fit on the back of the truck with chip. Its not unusual for us to do a tree, stack all the brash till the tree is down, grind out the stump and return the grinder to the back of the landy then chip up covering the grinder to get it all in in 1 trip, normaly only if a fair way from home. Do not grind through that membrane stuff as it will destroy your bairings and get a cheep littlle pulling winch (aldi special) to help pull it up the ramps when on your own and a sheety of stock bourd to put down next to the stump to work on as it stops the tires digging holes and makes tidy up easier.
  9. Ahh the grinder my rg13 wants to be when it grows up, one day.
  10. If you got set up with this and I had a job on that would generate say 10m + off chip would you travel down as far as me for the free chip? Especially if I brought in a bigger chipper and did a stack and final chip up job? Not got any at the mo but worth thinking about as a future pos......
  11. I like it, much more compact than a dog lead and its SHINY!!!
  12. Was built for a local council contract I seem to remember to help fill a green waste recycling quoter I seem to remember, so you would book this thing to turn up shred/chip all you're garden waste, bad it up and leave it for you to use on the garden. Council can then say they have recycled X amounts off greenwaste but not had to pay any transport storage costs etc. everyone's a winner.
  13. Sounds like you have it covered with what you have, mogs are good but you have to need them as just wanting one won't pay the bills to keep it in good conditions and serviced.
  14. Bet they spiked up it as well! light reduction to where they could reach from the main stem lol

    Hi-viz

Orange stays cleaner longer in tree work as the yellow start's to turn a greeny sort off colour after a few days and not so hiviz, I like the orange as imo it looks more pro as every jo blogs from tarmacking travalas to dog walkers and old people on scooters are in yellow these days, and as said I think orange showes up better against vegitatio so its easier to aim at you groundsman.
  16. Been posted a few times, still impressive.
  17. Nice 1 chriss, more timber than it looked on the ground in little heaps, not bad for 2 arbor boys in 9 days cutting and a lot off the smaller trees just got lost into the brash for rgb forest's mulcher. I blame matty for the odd lengths:thefinger: or they got cut shorter by the end off the day as we wer knackered.
  18. use stock board, indistructable so will last for years and no splinters!
  19. try aviva for a special vehical quote, found them quite good for all mt stuff
  20. taking flymow to a whole new hight.
  21. The pipe has a wall thickness of about 4mm and for mine is almst 6 ft long so far more than the spout clamp can cope with. and as for the tipper like i said watch this space but untill then its the good old tatty fork and a last thing thing at night work out on my own. sorry that sounds wrong but shifting over 6m of chip workes up a sweat.
  22. You have no idea! Watch this space!
  23. Something like this, waste water pipe 6" and splayed end fits a quadchip spout spot on and when pushed all the way over you get full air flow down the pipe so no getting blocked. Only problems is its heavy so needs holding up at the truck end but saves so much time in tidy up its worth the hassle.
  24. Brittax do some good LED tail lights, worth it on a trailer as no more bust bulbs.
  25. Ah that will be why you sent me the new feed roaler spring next day delivery no quibble when i mentioned it was getting to the end of its thread while getting some advise on re setting the service clock.... it was a bribe to keep saying how good my chipper is...!!...
