  1. Local library? Round here the planning officer in charge of trees wasn't even aware it had been revised and had only heard of it but never actually seen it, scary ain't it! Sounds good Andrew I'll be giving them a call tomorrow as it's a handy thing to have when pricing and trying to tell customers that in con areas we need to work too, hold it out and show them.. Might help anyway. sent while pretending to do something important on my mobile.
  2. Well the recycling truck took 4 empty cans from the green box this morning without a 2nd glance so at least I'll shift a few like that now. sent while pretending to do something important on my mobile.
  3. Goto take them calls! Might be thee job that makes it! or just another conifer to top.. What a day, lots smashed down, rb full of chip trailer full of chip, donated to a charity country garden for some paths now just all the timber to shift tomorrow and lots of it all to handball out and onto the trailer, should keep matty occupied while I make that important phonecall sent while pretending to do something important on my mobile.
  4. Ah still a nice bit, came from a private school near Yarm and was removed due to storm damage and root plate shifting, always interests me the provenance of timber sent while pretending to do something important on my mobile.
  5. Looks a good old beasty! sent while pretending to do something important on my mobile.
  6. Pictures might help sent while pretending to do something important on my mobile.
  7. Having been in contact with the very helpful lads in the service dep at greenmech hq about having problems with the stress control I'm putting it down to belts. Now they said it was most likely the tensioner spring seized but stripped that off and all ok full of grease but the bush I'm pointing at is extremely stiff to shift up and down so 1. Should it be? 2. If not how do I get it off to free it so the spring can do its job? Going to order new belts tomorrow as bit shiny on the sides. sent while pretending to do something important on my mobile.
  8. Not mine but if the lad who owns it decides too sell I'll be the 1st in line. Weight is around 200kg I think. But has very low ground pressure as wide tracks. Has a good winch on it to pull the trees up too it but have to tie the machine back to something or it gets dragged forwards. sent while pretending to do something important on my mobile.
  9. It's an iron horse jon, pulls a lot more than it looks like it shud, was using it on a sensitive woodland thinning job to drag full trees out. sent while pretending to do something important on my mobile.
  10. Looks like a scared rabbit court in the headlights in that picture, was expecting my axe to come back covered in blood when you lot scampered off into the dark with it and a silky saw  sent while pretending to do something important on my mobile.
  11. Well Eddie got me to give the Fill Partner is go after I poo pooed the 1 I had a long time ago, after a week it's still working so better than the last 1 strate away. Best thing is no spillover on filling the blower which has proved a pain with every other filler iv had, it fits the 540 s smaller tank hole fine. Overall quite pleased with it and will continue using it sent while pretending to do something important on my mobile.
  12. Came from fountains abbey that bit did, if it's the smaller bit, looks good. sent while pretending to do something important on my mobile.

  14. Just feels big after years of a 11mm poison ivy strop, il give it a chance and work with it a while. I do like the way the plastic end holds the beener straight and stops and twisting. sent while pretending to do something important on my mobile.
  15. That's the one, just couldn't resist going for a play after a non climbing week of work. Zillion is so smooth it just complete s the system perfectly. Wish it was easier to remove the rope so I could try some slightly thinner stuff as we know how much better the zz is on thinner line and have 1 long line and 1 special sports line for zipping around little trees sent while pretending to do something important on my mobile.
  16. Bit of messing about with the gopro the outher night on a rec climb. I aint no Reg C so dont expect to be blowen away by the edditing but im not fussed.
  17. It's not a lecture at all and I'm very sorry you feel that way. I did not intend too course any agro in a thred that was ment to be positive just expressing the way I see it and that it means a lot too me having children and i make the most of these days knowing my boy has a life threatening genetic conditions andprobably won't outlive me so the little things that might not mean a lot too some mean a lot to me sent while pretending to do something important on my mobile.
  18. And you still can't appreciate fathers day, it's not about the cards and commercial crap that too many people rap it up in, it's about family and just remembering what that really means. I'd rather just spend the day with my 2 lobbing rocks in the river and have a nice time than receive a crappy card that has little meaning in the long term or get given something they have made even if it's just some random bits of paper stuck together, it's seeing the joy the kids get from doing something special for you. sent while pretending to do something important on my mobile.
  19. You don't have children do you addam!? Got a phone call from my 2 this morning as down visiting granny and grandpa, still feels strange talking to my 3year old boy on the phone as he sounds so much older than he is. Hopefully they won't get stuck in traffic on the way home so we can all go out for dinner. sent while pretending to do something important on my mobile.
