  1. Lovely little village called skeeby, notorious for its speed bumps and flooding bridge. Scorton is nice, good pubs! Little lad gos to preschool there. I grew up just outside aldbrough St. John just north of the 66. Sent from my iPad using Arbtalk
  2. Sure thing rich, would be good to meet. Think it could be the same site as kit mentioned it a while back, much nicer in summer. Got some work too do for landowners soon so will get something sorted. That beech won't be around for ever as got early onset of the big G sent while pretending to do something important on my mobile.
  3. It's blue tongue which is a little over 11mm so self tends so well, fancy trying some poison ivy but don't know any1 who uses it. sent while pretending to do something important on my mobile.
  4. Thanks lads, Ian as silky says enjoy every climb! But just for fun not as often as id like. Hope to organise a rec climb in tgat tree and or a few others on that site around end August beginning sep if I pull me finger out ;-) sent while pretending to do something important on my mobile.
  5. Yes that's the Zillon on my side strop. Works very will even when the roap is soaking wet it behaves the same. I'll admit I was never keen on the roap that came with it so have now swapped out for some 11mm tackion in bright orange which is so much smoother particularly when releasing under full load and is much easier to spot among ivy or.leaves sent while pretending to do something important on my mobile.
  6. ZigZag recriational climb: Have a watch of this, just me having a play with some toys. sent while pretending to do something important on my mobile.
  7. Just avoid side loading the chain links, had a good long talk to petzle at the arb show and a good read of the findings from extensive testing some of which involved cutting bits out of the chain links and it still held up. Remember the original recall had nothing to do with the recent problem which in truth seems quite isolated. I have total confidence in mine, probably more so than the hitchclimber as it grabs every time without dressing and definitely more than my lockjack which dropped me a few times when knocked. sent while pretending to do something important on my mobile.
  8. Is that the 8 400 chipper? I recon you'll fill that trailer in about 8min with the right stuff too chip! Bit of a head blag to reverse the whole thing. sent while pretending to do something important on my mobile.
  9. No that's what Paul needs for his phone to save charging as much! sent while pretending to do something important on my mobile.
  10. How about 'climb' who help families with children suffering with metabolic disorders. They have offered a lot of support to me and my Mrs in dealing with my boys condition and interpreting the medical jargon from the docks. Hope to do something myself for them at some point. sent while pretending to do something important on my mobile.
  11. Looks good, very professional finish and image. sent while pretending to do something important on my mobile.
  12. Same as said, a fine bloke who knows his stuff about all things wood craft, his magazine got me more interested in green woodworking so hears to him and a full speedy recovery. sent while pretending to do something important on my mobile.
  13. Still not confirmation about who or where this happened but wouldn't wish this situation on any family. sent while pretending to do something important on my mobile.
  14. What you need is some clamp together grain duckting 1 bit to slide onto the chipper spout then clamp on a 90ø bend so the chip just falls into the bag, this is how we fill trailers with the hinzo chipper with very little spillage. sent while pretending to do something important on my mobile.
  15. I'm not far from there if it's the Bedale 1 your on about and got friends in the village, will make some inquiries tomorrow. sent while pretending to do something important on my mobile.
  16. That's the 10x5, smaller trailer went a while ago to a lad starting out doing logs so wanted to run double loads, Thanks matty it could be mistaken for a mobile pig pen or suchlike I guess, but it'll do the job for now sent while pretending to do something important on my mobile.
  17. Fit some budget high sides to my ifor, total cost for materials less than 100 pounds, got some jobs coming up that are going to generate a lot of chip so this way I can get 7.5 in the rb, 2.5 in the back of the landy and 6m in the trailer. So 16m of chip away each day should be good. The wiggley tin is actually very strong the way iv braced the inside so should stand up to it quite well, and a lot cheaper than other options looked at. sent while pretending to do something important on my mobile.
  18. No pictures jomoco? sent while pretending to do something important on my mobile.
  19. The 1 I used to drive only had a single acting ram so relied on the box to push it back down, again it would overextended and need a shove to get it started or like others have said reverse onto the chip. Made a big mistake 1 day and tipped it up without opening the door catches 1st and all the chip pushing om the door ment I couldnt open it and couldn't get the bed back down, had to call for valtra and botex to pull it down sent while pretending to do something important on my mobile.
  20. They look well good hodge, hungry all of a sudden for sum reason... sent while pretending to do something important on my mobile.
  21. Check your clutch springs, if 1 snaps the clutch won't disengage at low speed and stall the engine. This would be why it will run with no bar on as no resistance, did you notice if the sprockets were spinning when you had the bar off and the saw running? sent while pretending to do something important on my mobile.
  22. It says the french connection on it, that's all Not even sure which stand I got it from. sent while pretending to do something important on my mobile.
  23. Such a simple little thing makes life so much easier, saw 1 in a video long time ago then spotted it at arb show so thought I'd have 1 and c what it like. Cut through the stem till the cut almost starts to close slide the rod in behind your bar and finish the cut, as you do the ring rocks om the rod and lifts off the saw bar, then just role it off. Easy, another thing I wish I'd had years ago. Yellow bikes are everywhere at the moment, actually surprised that scrap lads ain't been round and tidied them all up yet! sent while pretending to do something important on my mobile.
  24. Load of logs, little bit of pruning/hedge cutting that's just showing being grateful for being put forward for work that outer wise you wouldn't get to see but cash bungs to win work over a competitor is just a no no but it happens and I'm almost sertin that's how I didn't get a few jobs over the last year or so .. Sent from my iPad using Arbtalk
  25. Yes that's the one, ment Wednesday not Thursday. Mmmmm pies..... Sent from my iPad using Arbtalk
