  7. Spend a bit of time just watching a few, plan where your going and don't miss a target point as I did the 1st time I had a go and end up going back up to it. Just use the gear your comfortable with and most importantly enjoy it, it's ment to be fun after all sent while pretending to do something important on my mobile.
  8. Sorry but if it is the same as the green tops on the husky cans iv never had a good experience with them compared to years of faultless service from the sthil tops. I use the oil non spill on the fuel side as it's smaller and fits the 540xp. Crap may be a bit harsh but inferior is probably more accurate. Having spotter that husky have produced a new can with redesigned spouts and discontinued the green type will they be producing a new fill partner of the same design? sent while pretending to do something important on my mobile.
  9. Yes and ended up spilling more than ever as it's the same crap design as the husky cans that after a few days don't click closed when you pull em out and I had a saw chew open a soft plastic can on the way too a job, lucky only lost about a litre. Like said 25ltr and little tap would suit me better just for convenience. sent while pretending to do something important on my mobile.
  10. Climb Friday drink Friday...after climb, watch and criticise Ourselves saterday sent while pretending to do something important on my mobile.
  11. I might have accidentally entered you into the 3atc climbing comp thismorning when I put mine in ;-) sent while pretending to do something important on my mobile.
  12. Strange the op posted a 25ltr tub as I've just been told by my local dealer that sthil say it doesn't exist in that size, 3ltr 5ltr 110ltr or big 200something ltr drum but not a practical 25??? Shame aspen can't come in 25's save all these emptied cans cluttering up the workshop. sent while pretending to do something important on my mobile.
  13. Sometimes it's the only way to try these strange positions ;-) It is an uncanny likeness! sent while pretending to do something important on my mobile.
  14. Jon your obsessed, can't blame you, iv had a few sneaky looks back at her photos sent while pretending to do something important on my mobile.
  15. Fruity/rancid all the same with my messed.up sense of smell or what I have left of it. Will forward that link into my mate, the stuff was incredibly dry, moisture meter averaged out at around 17% sent while pretending to do something important on my mobile.
  16. Iy definitely not oak! Smelt quite fruity when milling it, some pink some more yellow but all had lovely grain and incredibly hard, did a bit of beechwood this afternoon at almost 2 X the speed of cut. sent while pretending to do something important on my mobile.
  17. Finally got round to milling some unused 'oak?' railway sleepers for a local builder, I'd been putting off the job for a while as didn't fancy destroying chains but got on with it today. What a surprise when I tried picking the 1st 1 up, heavy is not the word for it! And pink sawdust, this is not oak.... hard stuff 2 cuts per tank on the 660 but only had to tickle the chain 1 time, all 12 came out looking like these, Butifull colours to be made into windowsills just sanded and lightly wax. sent while pretending to do something important on my mobile.
  18. It's not the aspen 's falt I'm just weak :sly: sent while pretending to do something important on my mobile.
  19. Ok Eddie, already run purely on aspen sourced from sam turners in Northallerton, North Yorkshire. Good service just trying to avoid going as much as normally end up getting something ells that I didn't really need :what: sent while pretending to do something important on my mobile.

  23. That's a 50 ton line pull not a 5, that's a self recovery winch as far as these boys are concerned, sent while pretending to do something important on my mobile.
  24. Well the old boy has 3 6x6 militants 1as heavy recovery 1 with big crane on and 1 with a 35ton pul winch on its back currently being rebuilt also got a trailer mounted winch for mole ploughing that he thinks is around the 5ton line pull mark. sent while pretending to do something important on my mobile.
