Got one on ours , quite good on logs but needs a lot of space to use, the ones that slip onto a grab are a bit thin for log or stone, fine for chip or sand but will bend on logs. -

The pull will be partly depending on the pressure blow out on your aux circuit so worth checking that against your winches recommend pressure as I know on ours that maxes out before the winch will.

It's a 6t boughton off a old military vehicle, I thought about hooking it on the blade but being able to reach over fences and walls was too much of a benefit for us. How you going to pipe your winch?

Out with our digger munted winch doing some dying sycamore in a very wet site, definitely makes getting a nice line of pull easy.

Has anyone in the North East/north Yorkshire got a pto stump grinder they would be willing to hire out ? Access isn't possible for a large 360 mounted machine before anyone says kingswell.

Bit of time with a spade you can hardly tell Was a git getting all the timber out with the digger to avoid taking tractor in and really making a mess!

Give flowfit or approved hydraulics a call. Got a new rotator for botex of approved at nearly 200quid less than Wilson's for identical thing, just give them a serial number and they can cross reference it for you or possibly give you a slightly higher flow unit should you want one.

If it has stress control you have to set it each time you use it but looking at the pictures I don't think it has stress control

The ratchet shop do a good range of rated lifting chains in various lengths and strengths, just got a 6m 10mm twin leg with self locking hooks.

Will be checking drive link numbers on some bars tomorrow as fancy a few full skip chains for longer bars for a felling job we have coming up. -
Don't need +E to tow with tractor or agricultural machine. If you think the max loaded weight of a ifor is normally 3.5t that's less than most agricultural trailers empty so no problems. Hardest thing I've found is getting hitch hight low enough to keep it level and remembering where the extension for the light leed is so itl reach to plug in.
