  1. If you get 1 of the auto oil filled tops for the fuel side that should fit the smaller hole as that's what I did when I got the 540xp as that too has a small filler hole.
  2. That's just an age thing mick 😜 Cutting and holding, not putting on chain brake, drop starting saws, not putting my visor down, arguing with the sat nav and eating nuttela with a spoon from the jar are among mine
  3. 54p ltr for 500 ordered yesterday, paid more as is min order as only got a small tank at moment but better than the quid a ltr I was paying at plant hire place for a while.
  4. Looks an absolute beast J! Way different from the old stenner I used as a apprentice helpi in an estate sawmill, get some video up of it working so we can really appreciate it's size.
  5. A combination of something like this a large alasken or a logasoll m8 would be perfect for the timber we bring back to get used for more than logs.
  6. Looks a very good bit of kit, wish I had the money.
  7. This is the throw pod and I use it every time I had throw but for a launcher I use the 220 above as the rubber bullet becomes just that when launched and can bounce wildly around the crown sometimes.
  8. Found the bit about the gauls interesting, being used to produce ink. Will that have ment that once they had professional gaul pickers off looking and harvesting these things?
  9. Had to deadwood this thing today for the highways agency, was surprised it wasn't down for a removal over two footpaths and next to a very busy road. Forgot the after pictures but looked better than I thought but don't give it much long term hope.
  10. I've found a spot about 30 cm along the main chassi rail from where the main earth lead bolts to it so should be OK from what agrimog says, after the original leads started to fail from being a bit thin and cheap so the new 1ns are 50% thicker and at least twice the number of strands inside so should be good enough. Also got a big heavy duty 24v capable isolater fitted tonight instead of the nasty plastic red key type that came with it.
  11. Never used the 1 on the oil as kept it as a spare for fuel but never needed it. Could the fuel have degraded the seals so making it stick a bit
  12. Pump fuel or aspen? I'm on Aspen and had no bother with mine, a mate is on pump fuel and has had sticking spouts.
  13. Would joining two together work or would the joint heat up even though it's on the negative side?
  14. Been on replacing the leads to my landy winch with some much thicker better quality cables but unfortunately the earth lead is about 30cm too short. So can anyone tell me if it would matter if this was bolted onto the same place as 1 of the earth straps on the chassis instead of going all the way to the earth terminal on the battery.
  15. Tidy, always fancied 1 set up like that with the roler shutters on the sides for carrying gear and general tow vehicle, looks very tidy
  16. Sounds good, get a thred up about the conversion with lots of pictures.
  17. You've got some fantastic gear going on now bud, really would like to see the brunks in full flow some day.
  18. Always fancied a canal holiday, hope you're enjoying your self bud.
  19. Tight access for the bandit for 10min grinding then onto 2nd job to remove a willow and log it up, water was running out of it as it was split! Then grind a very rotten birch which just turned to dust when the teeth hit it.
  20. Just got a email from lro with the new tshits from them, grey 1 top right might have to be ordered 😀
  21. Two clutches at about a k both within a little over a month of each. Not as bad as a clutch and duel mass fly in my wife's hyundie at 1500 because it was miss fitted before we got it!
  22. 12000lbs remote control is what you want Ian, running 2 warrior winches on my landys and proved excellent. The remote really opens up a whole new level of use!
