  1. Had the lime green scafell xtc or whatever they are and were good boots but clashes with the orange shirts so it'll be black for me
  2. Might have to go up to gustharts and have a look but probably get another pair of profells, cheers Wayne John
  3. Are they the same hight on your ankle as the scafell boots as I've had the higher profells one's for a while and like the surport it gives.
  4. Tin foily reflective thermal try things issued out for sub zero exercises so should be good but hopefully never needed like all these things.
  5. No didn't spot that, thought it was very efficient way of doing it, definitely saves taking trailer off each time to use front loader.
  6. Thought this would be of interest to anyone with roof mounts who find themselves a little quiet in summer, skip to about 3.30
  7. Aaron's is part of hit otc metabolic condition, wounder if your like that crazy guy who swims under frozen lakes without any issues, sure he has a lower than normal body temperature. Just ordered some army issue foil blankets for the vans having started to think about this issue and the remote locations we sometimes work in, a good extra to go with the trauma 1st aid kits we have.
  8. Looks good Gordon, if my zillion gives up I'll definitely be interested in this. Good video showing it by John and thanks for sharing.
  9. My sons the same with a lower than normal body temperature and he feels the cold more than his sister so I guess could be more susceptible to it, I've experienced mild hypothermia with uncontrollable shivering and feeling slightly intoxicated from getting thrown off a horse and getting soaked in icy water, high wind chill and over an hr ride back. Took well over 2 hrs once dry and somewhere warm to start to feel normal but incredibly tired and groggy. Definitely wouldn't recommend it!
  10. I'll let you come in on this business venture if you like but shhh don't tell anyone yet and this time next year we'll be....... Missing most of our fingers ;-)
  11. http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&id=161877035222&globalID=EBAY-GB&alt=web Can't get much better
  12. Be better if when he cut the bits they dropped into his little trolly ready for transport, labor savings again eh.....
  13. Got a 12 step workware set with 3 adjustable legs, got them mostly for 1 job we do every year with 4 days solid triming big yews. Nothing else would do as the ground is that uneven. Fantastic ladders and get used lots.
  14. Yamazaki.... On a school night... With good news like that I guess it's acceptable, congrats.
  15. Fair do's, I'll take your word for it
  16. EBay, amazing what you can get delivered these days ;-)
  17. Only ever had bother with the 10" version clogging with very long wispy willow or if the blades were dull or blade anvil gap was set too large to make bigger chip for footpaths, crane fed it lots to and apart from ripping the whole hopper off once by opening the grab too much inside and lifting at same time we never had any problems with it.
  18. http://www.masonwoodchippers.com/P64%20FARMI%20STOCK%20BIG%20PAGE.html This would probably be ideal for you, I've used the bigger farmi lots and found it a very capable chipper and not too heavy. The 45degree feed is an advantage as requires less hp to drive so the Alpine will have no bother chipping up to 6" with it.
  19. Found some at Thorpe perrow arboretum as well and some colorful maples, battery died before I could take many more pictures :-(
  20. Nothing like working with the boss to encourage a bit of improvement in performance ;-)
  21. Yep and shocked at how many of that lot ain't cut out for it or got a clue it actually involves hard work!
  22. Good for you and your crew, shame 1 is dragging there heals as it let's the rest down.
  23. Tree clearing on a Sunday, you must be busy Ian.
  24. Ongoing problem with the well it ain't mine so I don't care mentality of some towards machines with some lads, I had 1 and he didn't stop long!!
