  1. Going from Blue tongue to tachyon was definitely one of my best rope choices for use with my zigzag as it behaves completely different, yes tachyon has stretch but it's not bouncy like blue tongue and feels more predictable in all weathers.
  2. Just a case of press on, cut, press off and done quick and easy 😁
  3. Both as comfortable as each other but my preference is for the letter bottom straps as found I couldn't get the Velcro tight to stop them creeping back onto my heal but that's also the falt of airstreams having hardly any heal step.
  4. Good video with some different angles captured, lot of very shiny kit in that, just starting out or insurance payout? Think the 880 was a bit overkill for the last fell but look good with the sugi bar which is same as mine but I try avoid getting it out these days preferring a lighter saw. What chip truck is that your running, couldn't quite make it out and box looks a nice size.
  5. Had my quadchip 3 years and never had 1 snap so I think you've just been unlucky.
  6. At least it's not a serious problem to fix it, 5 min tops once you get the part and your not stranded somewhere.
  7. And remember Nice legs, short skirt - quote high - it's a distraction, she won't be in when you do the job.
  8. No but at the price of it it better have 1 to keep your salads fresh. Hope it still has room to wedge a pie down the side of the engine to warm it up or I won't be helping out with any days relaxing in its spacious quiet comfortable air conditioned cab.... Ah sod it I'll still go play with it if you get 1 😉
  9. Go work for someone and when you get to a job mentally calculate how long it'll take nd work out what you'd have changed and once your done work out if you were correct , or as others have said cost + time + profit = cost sometimes you'll get it wrong but hopefully less than you'll get it spot on.
  10. That's no tool box that's busy daddy's bait box and for ballast he leaves his wallet in there 😜
  11. Mostly winch on landy which is remote control so has the advantage that you can be easily 50m away and control it so groundsman can have remote on his pocket and raised or lower it while guiding a branch.
  12. Got a good compilation video in the making Jon which has some of it winching timber, other vehicles and itself out of a bit of a bog hole, prob be a while before I finish it but I'll let you know when I do.
  13. Really like it, especially for pruning where the lack of weight is appreciated or for street trees where the lack of noises a bonus. Noise isn't a problem for communication anymore as iv fitted us all with coms which makes jobs like this so much easier and safer. Also got the ground saw version which generally lives with the chipper for the odd cut needed to get something in which saves trying to start a cold saw every time. Top tools 👍
  14. Thanks, edited it down a lot to keep it short for a change and forgot to hit record for the fell as that'd have been a good shot.
  15. Latest effort of a big Cyprus that had been knocked about by the wind so the client wanted it out before the winter storms came again. Rather wet foggy day made everything rather slippy and a rather small crash zone forced a bit of speedlining which helped get everything away from the road.
  16. Bet you find a lot of critters in all that loos hanging bark 😲 Looks good.
  17. Now your just being silly, what would people think of you if they came and spotted something depraved like that hanging on the wall 😜
  18. I'd be more happy if husky did 1 the same so we could have a debate about who's monthly moddles are nicest as well as who's gear is best.😜
  19. Yeh and a bigger price with £15 per hour depreciation on top of running cost.
  20. Yeh but I bet it's 150 ltrs to fill it for a few days work not the 300 ish a day going into the t170 when she's chipping, Yeh bet it would be good with a loader but not as good as this valtra. Strange thing to drive I bet!
  21. 274 Jon with stupid high torque levels for big pto work.
  22. Looks like you'll have fantastic visibility over the front with that shape bonnet rob. Bet it's really economic on fuel unlike the t170 I'm used to. Mates getting a S274 on demo tomorrow so see how that runs the big hizo, will get some pictures on here tomorrow hopefully.
  23. Have a word with rgb forestry, with his gear he'd be able to run over that size site in no time and tidy up all leftovers. If your after getting yourself 1 speak to Billy at ricos tockwith base and he'll help you out with what's available.
