  1. i have a pair of stretchair type c and a pair of freedoms and i would say that they are as good as each other. the pro's and cons of each balance each other. For summer i'd go for the sips as they are fairly light but probably not as hard wearing as the stretchairs. i think it's purely personal choice.
  2. ex-players don't always make the best managers, look at billy bremner, both legendary players for the club with a lot of respect from fans and players but the team at the time just wasn't up to it. leeds are now have the biggest fan base of any third flight team and probably the biggest stadium and are pulling in premiership gates but the standard of football is abysmal esp against millwall.
  3. judas was never forgiven as he comitted a mortal sin by comitting suicide which is why the unconsecrated area of a churchyard is known as potter's field and why judas iscariot and brutus occupy the lowest level of hell in dante's inferno.
  4. my local church asked me about getting one of these. The person in charge of aquiring the tree had seen it in the RHS encyclopedia and written the name down and said to me "we like this Cercis tree, the blossom is just what we want." i then informed them of the common name and how it got the name and i also informed them that the size was not suitable for the situation they wanted to put it in. They very quickly changed their minds about it.
  5. do you mean powered or non powered? non powered, you could try the corona polesaws, i got mine in costco pukka professional poles for around 90 notes which was about the same price as my usual dealers but they were out of stock at the time. powered you can't beat anything orange and white imo

  13. that looks like a land rover wheel brace. Prob got pinged into the tree after slipping off a wheel nut that refused to budge.
  14. Saw the trailed 426 in action in feb at woodpickers yard, it just chewed a few pieces of council spec paving flag and spat them out, not much damage done to the machine by the loks of things. i've also seen the result of a rail tie going through a chipper:thumbdown:

  20. why not just blame mp's, it's about the only thing they're good for nowadays apart from rolling over for brussels to walk all over us. (oops sorry about that got carried away:blushing:)
  21. well done sir:thumbup1: quite an achievement that.
  22. about time the english pilaged and raped their way across the north sea coastline of europe again ( i think the last time was when nelson set fire to the danish fleet in copenhagen in 18summat) seriously though sounds a good laugh to get away from this hellhole we call our nation.
