  1. if i could relive from a levels on i would probably have done the same as i did : go to askham bryan do hnd/foundation degree in hort and then go somewhere else prob newton rigg or barony to do arb or forestry.

  15. the only problem with mod braces is that when the buttons at the back give way the elastic is that strong it gives you concussion as it recoils up your back and wallops you round the back of the head or is that just the RAF braces?

  17. how about the manharness or artilleryman's hitch? this was used for hauling field guns into position as it allowed shoulder loops to be created along the length of the rope and allowed the hands to remain free. I think it appears in pretty much any knot book.
  18. why not use a krab in your current mid-line knot mark?
  19. you could ask monkey d as he has a trewhella and i'm pretty sure he'll know the swl for it. Although as a rule of thumb the statement about two men put it on and two men must take it off is pretty much on the mark. These things bite and can be very unforgiving.

  21. i think it was actually bramham park that did this scott as it was mick rhodes' lads who did it and they do the majority of bramham's work as far as i know.
  22. i think leeds city council have one as i've seen it coming out of their depot near me. bright yellow with all the proper signing on it.
