  8. I have six in my shed and can't even find them ! Kx
  9. You do have too many 😉 K
  10. Probably by someone nearby with a chainsaw 😋 At a glance, tap root decay working its way up and around through the tree' life span. No evident fungal brackets. Looks like a busy road location K
  11. Come on Kev ! I'm waiting for this ! K
  12. And dont forget yr spittoon Cactus Jack ☺️ Read one arb book a year and you will be streets ahead. K
  13. Oddly, had a good top handle n felling saw from China, under 100 squids, still runnning after 4 yrs. No Pro use, but certainly worthy for logging up and backup saw fr a climber. Biggest plus is if you get done over, the hit is not as hard. K
  14. My point, possibly the tree in question barely got a glance on the topographical survey. Then houses just fitted in expediently. K
  15. Hence my 'quiet word' before he splashes too much cash in this. Or time. Very dependent on what TO is like. K
  16. Think i have seen it all now 🙁 Danish children’s cartoon features man with huge magical penis WWW.THETIMES.CO.UK The public service broadcaster in Denmark has scored a ratings hit with an animated series aimed primarily at children aged four to eight about a man with a prodigiously long penis.John... Reliably informed that this is acceptable in Denmark 🙄 K
  17. If there are fabric covered fuel hoses on it, i would replace those even temporarily, never trusted those things as they can chafe in the chassis rail n pinhole. K
  18. Loads of trees around there! K
  19. No. There are plenty of reasons to retain trees near housing. Plenty of engineering methods to ensure trees will be safe and healthy, this should have been covered by the building developer ( not saying it has - mind) at the planning stage. If yr sons health is compromised it could be considered a 'nuisance' legally. But then its lawyers etc, it will depend really on yr TO and how sympathetic they are. Possibly yr neighbours might be glad to see it go also. A tree report then a quiet word might work wonders but as there is no other detail included, its conjecture. K
  20. A tree report! 800squids! Er no. Give or take an hour. Plus filing the application. K
  21. If it was built in the 90's with a retained tree in place, usual building precautions should have been taken. An Area TPO should give room to maneouvre, get arb report and then put in an application to fell. Cite health concerns with Drs letter included. K
  22. I would have jump leads ready! Fully charge yr battery if its been struggling of late with the cold. K
  23. Check ALL yr hoses ( pressure check) does sound like air getting in. Its a bugger when someone has messed with the wiring. Have you got a wiring diagram? K
  24. @Big Don, there you go 😉 could have cut the bloody ivy off tho' 😐 K
  25. White smoke is unburnt fuel, water droplets could be head gasket-cooling side leak. K
