  2. I have sorted a few woodchippers, an couple right old shit boxes, they are simple really, remember sharpening old roller n put new anvil in - bloke thought i was Jesus! Thing must have been 20 yrs old but really nothing but neglected. Not the case here but baffling, this Forst lot, reputationally this is a black hole they climbing ( or not trying to) out of. K
  3. @lux am aghast at yr situation, cant offer better advice than others have stated. Just hope Forst are having a bloody good read here. If were my company i would be in the workshop monday tearing strips off. Couple old lads in pub used to blab on at what they did at Fords in 1970s, look what happened there. K
  4. ( good for help dating yr older Oaks)

  15. @spuddog0507 definately, one thing i will bless this virus for is its given many ( including me) a kick up the arse in the planning n ideas part of things. Plus being in Town is now pretty much meaningless after Brexit, plenty of work for my slot all over UK and a bit abroad too so am not getting tied down any more ( broken promises etc) k
  16. Might need a proper QC if summat clouts a bloke ๐Ÿ˜• ( as in Queens Counsel) saddening to hear all this, have used most brands n models n Bandit n TP only ones that stood out on build quality, others were variable and built ' to a price' and it showed ๐Ÿ˜ K
  17. Yes. But good to put on fr some logging up when yr saw trousers are soaked wet. K ( gonna bloody end up buying more off ebay at this rate ๐Ÿ˜ฎ )
  18. On that Ivy and Utility crap, i would just use Poundland saws and save the Silky fr climbing work / fruit trees. @SamanthaSunny that Stihl one looks great, Silky brand can go over 60 squids, paid 90 fr a hyauchi head on its own. K

  21. These look nicest. OREGON UNIVERSAL PROTECTIVE LEGGINS/CHAPS TYPE A 575780 ONE SIZE WWW.EBAY.CO.UK 6 LAYER PROTECTIVE MATERIAL. COOL AND BREATHABLE. K
  22. Basically straight ones if yr doing lil felling cuts. Curved ones better for reducing / smaller cuts / fruit trees as you get a better reach around. Plus the grecian curve is more aggressive. Or just buy wot the bloody hell you fancy ๐Ÿ˜‹ K
  23. Was gonna suggest those to Sam fr sawing in, as will fit anyone. But she sorted now. Might buy pair myself fr odd days logging to save my Stihl stretchies. K
  24. Got a Roumanian crew down here who will have it gleaming in half hour ๐Ÿ˜† K
