He dont mind - this is interesting. Yup. Could not road tow two trailers. Our site was nice n flat an we were handballing stuff in ( log slices) still did 60 ton a day. K

We were fuel wood chipping in a field and the jiggling around with two tractors was a pain, looked a better plan - two tips a day usually. K Not put a tow hitch on back of Heizo and blart it into a rear trailer? I thought of it using one , years ago . K

Might be worth pointing out to him that as he is transporting 'waste' not 'recycle material ' he needs a 'waste license' or he is liable for a fine. K

Everyone on here enjoys my offended grumpy bugger of a morning , pal , I enjoy hearing abt tree stuff on occasion, stuff like this is tedious to the extreme. One thing 'lockdown' did give many - was a sense of community purpose or change to do things . K

Mr Stubby, on a daily basis I ave to wade through peples perceptions of all of this in Town - which puts me at actual great risk. Common sense seems to have left this country abt March 2020. Wish I had...... K

I certainly would concur on this. My view off the cuff , Mature tree, V.High target values, no obvious damage or decay in crown or trunk, previously pruned ( badly ) hard cover for root development, pollution and salt in growing area. 6monthly inspection after thorough first examination. Expected Safe Lifespan 10 years. Which is just from the image , and trees like that cover most of London. And I was working in this area for 2 weeks and there are FAR more obvious Hazard tree candidates in Ealing ! Scarey occurrence if 'unforeseen ' fits this tree ? K

Had always wanted to make the shell case that would have fitted in there to give it historical significance ( I think it would have been the famous French 75 - quick firing gun, forerunner of more modern artillery from WW1 ) so on recently getting my new small bench lathe and an old oak table leg...... I did.. ? so now the houseclearance people will get a shock when i pass on ? K

So... This story starts over 40 yrs ago as a small child on holiday in Dunkirk, i bought a shell case from flea market for 20 francs ( they had sold out on fleas) which then languished in Dads shed until he died ......
